Vinyl search Options

Looking for Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here on vinyl. Doesn't have to be perfect condition, I'm going to frame them for a display in my basement (I already have MJ). Anyone know where I might be able to find these?

I really don't see a point in dropping a lot of cash on vinyl copies of their albums if you aren't going to spin them. If you just want to frame them, get high resolution scans of the covers to print for your frames. If you really want to get the albums on vinyl:

Throwing Copper: Repressed by MusicOnVinyl. You can find this in stock at several online retailers for ~$30-$35. You should be able to find a used copy for less than $30

Secret Samadhi: never repressed. But you should be able to find this for $50 or less if you are patient

The Distance to Here: this was only ever pressed in very limited numbers in Germany. You won't find this for less than a couple hundred dollars, and if you drop that kind of cash just to stick it in a frame, you are going to make some vinyl aficionados seeking this record very very sad.

Discogs generally has more consistent fair prices for vinyl compared to eBay

Yes. I have a bid in on one that looks pretty decent right now. Fair price too. Let me know what you find. I'm going to get all 4 of these somehow. And I really want a TC from the original pressing, not one of the recent ones.

you know that the OG Throwing Copper doesn't contain 'Horse' right? I guess if you aren't listening to it though, it doesn't really matter.

JClive....I checked and apparently I'm all out of Secret Samadhi on vinyl. I could have sworn I had one left, but no. If it's albums you're after, I have one copy of Mental Jewelry on vinyl. It's a Brazilian edition. If you're interested, let me know.

Also yeah, MOST early pressings of Throwing Copper on vinyl omit Horse and Pillar of Davidson. The only exception that I'm aware of is the Colombian edition, which includes all 14 tracks.

thank you for checking. I just won an eBay auction for what looks like a good quality SS vinyl. So I'm set there for now, at least until I see what condition it's really in.

I have a copy of the Brazilian MJ on vinyl. The cover is in pretty rough shape though, so I'd be interested in seeing what you have. Would love to find an excellent condition US version. Same for TC.

And another thing on TC, lucky for me I'm not interested in actually playing these albums, I want them for display and nostalgia.

I just picked up an excellent condition TDTH vinyl, it arrived today!!!! Happy Live fan!
