If I am correct I do own a version of Ecstatic Fanatic.
Will have a look this evening and if anything matches the list of BrokenGlass I will let the community know.
Fingers crossed.

Oh my god, that would be awesome!

Could it be where this version of cheetah came from?

I think this is a demo, from a radio broadcast back in the 90ies ?

Unfortunately,

The songlisting is the same as the V-CD which followed.
I do hear some differences but (to give an example) I do not see or hear the song named "Tibetan Thunderstorm".
Will have another look at my other CD's but to be honest I do not think it is in my collection.
Also will have a look at SWAMI's listing of music from +LIVE+.
Keep you informed.

This is the track listing for "Ecstatic Fanatic" that I have:

"Tibetan Thunderstorm"
"Like a Soldier"
"People Like You"
"Deep Enough"
"Creed"
"Transmit Your Love"
"Fool"
"Flow"
"Cheetah"
"Overcome"
"I Am Not OK"
"River Town"

Wow, is this for real? Don't mean to doubt your post, but this seems just so weird and unexpected. I mean I know there was an early version of V, but didnt know any of the unreleased songs Chad mentioned ("one of the best songs Ed ever wrote") were actually recorded back than. Was Tibetan Thunderstorm one of them? Or is it a known V song all know? It's weird, because in 2005 an early tracklisting of SFBM featured this title and everyone thought it was bullshit, a fake name. But maybe...?
And apart from that, your tracklisting features unreleased songs from three albums TC, TDTH, BoP PLUS some V stuff. And River town was written for BoP, they said, didnt they?

Strange! This so called 'cd as a surprise for the fans' has more mystery(ieehee) to it than I expected.

Thanks for checking. I'd still listen to your V CD.

In 2006 Swami had no idea what Tibetan Thunderstorm was. So unless he got the V demo after SFBM came out, I doubt he has EF on him.

Yes i believe the song was recorded from the radio, ed's voice sounds like late-90's or early 2000's to me.

Differences, as in alternate versions of "V" songs? Would love to get a copy of it if they are different.

Yeah it doesn't add up. Am I to believe that within 5 hours of the post, the band and/or the label they are no longer with knew EXACTLY who the OP was, located their former employee's telephone number, and called the OP's mom and told her to tell her son to stop talking about a CD that nobody really cares about from a now irrelevant artist?

That sounds like utter nonsense.

Agreed.

And it's not even April 1 yet.

I don't know many Live fans who would have this kind of subtlety and knowledge of the recordings, labels, etc, to be fake.

We definitely know there are obsessive Live fans who swear allegiance to Chad, who are in contact with the band somehow, so it seems possible that the band could get word. And if this former employee really died, it could be possible that the current MCA employees still remember him and his son. I don't know if it sounds like utter nonsense, but for me it definitely casts doubt over the situation.
