An overdue special thanks to whoever made CB happen for everyone!

I have thoroughly enjoyed it over and over again. I have to say in my opinion the tracks lived up to the hype and were well worth the wait. Imagine how much more awesome SS would have been, especially back in the day, if the final tracks sounded as energetic and raw as these.

I feel the same, especially with Hero and Dirge song (with the way it is played, reminds me of the chiming of an old style clock every quarter hour as you struggle to get to sleep). Ed sounds a little more raw, and a little more angry in some. You can feel more passion (maybe some fresh wounds?).

Anyway, I wanted to say that I think it's the opposite... Ed used to be off the deep end and that's what made him so great. Now he is all sane, safe, normal and boring. He must have quit smoking reefer.

I can't listen to any concerts circa 2001 where Railo can be heard. It's like adding a cheesy baseball-park organ to what should be serious rock songs. It drove me crazy. Yeah, just what Lightning Crashes needed, some nice ballpark organ music.

Long time no speak.

First off, I'd like to thank Diane, who seems to be the voice of reason in this thread. So thank you Diane for that.

Second, I've listened to a few of you call CT a narcissist and other names.....yet you are here to get recording from his band. I would ask that you show a little more respect, if you truly are, or ever were a fan of this band. Calling their members names, then coming and asking for pirated material is why I would call POT AND KETTLE.

Third, a little patience probably would have been best here. I would have been willing to bet that there would have been another opportunity to get this material from the band. All you have done now is guarantee that there will be no future material offered up to fans that we've been waiting a long time to hear. That's just fucking great.

Next, it just seems all due to the fact that many of you have this sense of entitlement. Like this band owes you something. YOU choose to support bands, buy their records and cd's, to support them because you like them, maybe even admire them. Not because you feel they owe you something as a result. Yet it seems many of you actually felt this way. As if after all the shit you've bought over the years, they owe you something. You honestly remind me of a bunch of screaming brat children who don't get something they want, then kick and scream until they get it, calling everyone this and that in the meantime, until you get what you want.

Now, I do feel badly for those who didn't receive it for one reason or another. But CT specifically asked for this not to be leaked or distributed, and MANY OF YOU completely disregarded that simply because you didn't get what you want. It wasn't fair for one reason or another, blah blah blah, why shouldn't I be entitled. Well, life isn't fair, that's for god damned sure. We don't always get what we want do we? That's life, you bone up and accept that like an adult.

Instead, you chose to blatantly disregard the wishes of a man who was part of a band we all love and admire in some form or another. In the process, you ensured that we will NEVER EVER get our hands on ANY unreleased material again. All because it wasn't fair to you, you didn't get what you wanted, cried kicking and screaming like a bunch of 6 year olds until you got what you wanted. IN THE PROCESS, showing a complete lack of RESPECT for CT's wishes, however unfair they seemed.

I hope you sincerely enjoyed them, because you flat out guaranteed that we will never get any of it again, ever.

Another person trying to tell everyone how to be a true fan of Live. There is no set criteria/requirement to being a fan, its just liking their music. Get off your high horse.

Chad distributed knowledge of the link in an openly advertised invitation to join Cyber Dust through a small site called Facebook. He clearly did this assuming no one would leak it, because Chad actually believes people on the internet retain integrity??? I think you're assuming some naivety that doesn't actually exist. Chad knew this would leak and he knew it was a way to bypass any greater powers who might prevent its distribution, whether that be Ed, Sony or the fucking boogeyman. Give the man some intellectual credit. Just because he stood next to Ed for all those post-2000 years doesn't mean he's completely devoid of understanding.
