Does anyone need 2 general admission tickets to the Live-Nickelback Ottowa show on Feb 18. I will charge face value to first response.

Thanks!

Here are some snippets I found on the Nickelback message boards about LIVE:

"Live came on!!! And THEY ROCKED!!!! The best!! Awesome show!!
They played a lot off the new album, and then slowed it down with Lightning Crashes!! Awesome. When they did I Alone, the singer and guitar player (dont know thier names) were rocking in the cat walk right in front of us.
The majority of the show, the singer was right in front of us, hips gyrating the whole time! They were so great!! I was very surprised actually."

"Proceeding Nickelback was Live, whose singer Ed Kowalczyk (ever hear of a stage name?) made the poor fashion choice of wearing what appeared to be a female Olympic swimming top (he eventually took it off). But Kowalczyk has the kind of voice that carries well in an arena, and while recent single The River was a highlight, Lightning Crashes predictably got the biggest reaction."

"I thought LIVE was very good, I didn't know alot of tunes but , ya they did there thing!!"

"Thank you to Live, I have wanted to see you in concert for years. It was an amazing set and really loved it."

"Next to Nickelback, Live was definitely the band that the crowd (and particularly myself) was looking forward to the most. They took to the stage at 8:00, kicking it off with one of their many smash hits 'All Over You'. They also plugged their upcoming new album, called 'Songs From Black Mountain', by introducing the crowd to four of their new songs (entitled 'The River', 'Mystery, 'Sofia', and 'Show') As with Danko's new material, Live's new album will be a definite purchase for me."

"Is it just me or is LIVE really really gay? I liked them until tonight, was pretty disgusting to watch them."...............and then some responded: "nope he's married with two little girls 1 and 3... nice try though..."

"Live. Wow... I had forgotten how many hits they had. They've been around forever! Errr... not to age them. I thought the stage show was great! Hey, Ed didn't look so bad with his shirt off... can't be easy staying in any sorta shape while on the road. But I thought they rocked. And it was obvious many people came to the concert to specifically see them."

All in all I think there has been a positive response from Nickelback fans about LIVE. Far better than what they've been saying about Danko Jones...

1 more day!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, I figured it would be. I was really hoping they added Love Shines to the list, or changed at least one or two songs around.

Looks like there won't be any setlist surprises this time...there never is. Except last time in Montreal they played Sweet Release for the first time. Fingers crossed!

I think he's going to one of the New England shows instead, since they're closer.

CLifton Park is a 3 hour drive from my house. Ottowa is a 90 minute flight and was 225 bucks a person. I rather save money and see a Live headlining show than see them opening for Nickelback. I did lose money on two tickets though. I am going to Orlando right from the concert(thats where the 225 dollars went) and I won't be able to write a review till Saturday.

I want a full review of the Ottowa show from Tina and Beth!

Hope everyone that's going to these shows has an awesome time!!!! I'm sure Ed won't let ya down. See everyone at a US venue. I'm in Puerto Rico but have free internet hook-up so I will be checkin in periodically to read the reviews.
