Yeah me to. It's probably because it is the first single, but not one of my favs on the record.

I wonder if it's because he most resembles or sounds like Ed on that track.

I am not sure of the voice has made the difference. Perhaps those who voted it could tell us more.

He doesn't sound anything like Ed on TWAIT.

TWAIT reminds of the 'Ed era' Live, just like Rodgerton does (for me).

I think i would rank TWAIT 5-6 from the 11.
But very surprising, i wanna know why the 14 people who voted for TWAIT like this song the most??

I voted for TWAIT because it's the most melodic...it sticks in my head and I could sing most of it after one listen. When I like a song after the first listen and it does not have to grow on me, then it's a great song.

I understand people voting for TWAIT.
It has grown on me and it still grows on me.
after Sirens, Rodgerton,By Design and HCTTDT it's my fave song from The Turn.

Belated vote for Siren's Call. But it could have easily been 6310. Or HCTTDT. Or Don't Run to Wait. Loads of quality tracks to choose from. I'm surprised to see TWAIT on top.

I remember when it came out that it felt to me like there were two camps:

1. TWAIT is the best, the rest is generic.
2. TWAIT is the most generic, the rest is better.

Camp one seemed to be the Ed fans, whereas camp two seemed to be the CCP fans. Interesting.

Also, lols at no votes for Need Tonight. Album track status, innit. It's a good song imo, a slow burn to a really good end.

Voted for By Design, only just over Siren's Call. Both would be pushing top 10 Live songs for me. And yeah, Need Tonight was the weakest on the album for me in retrospect tongue.gif

Need tonight is far from the weakest for me. Far better than TWAIT and NBK. I voted for We open the door. That track is the closest to classic live, very mental jewelry lyrically.
