Not going to deny that. I can admit to it.

The Turn did not chart on the Netherlands Top 100 chart.

-V, Birds of Pray, and Songs From Black Mountain were all #1.

-Alive came in at #3, and Flood and The Mercy came in at #18.

Sometimes it is hard for adults to be friendly to 60 year olds who talk and act like an incohesive 13 year old drunk person.

Considering SFBM was #1, I'm fairly certain the Dutch and I have extremely different tastes in music haha.

With that being said, I'm glad Ed was able to retain many of his fans there; they always seems to have a special connection, and I'm happy the dissolution of Live 1.0 didn't remove that.

Live works best with the four original members. I don't think any 90's band still has all members in tact. Live still has that ability if they choose to use it.

Nick, there are 4 members in the original band. 0 of those members are interested in this happening. Not even Ed.

Why you are so obsessed with a 90's band getting back together when they have all moved on? The fact that you continue to troll this board just to piss people off because they are enjoying somethong makes me actually feel sorry for you and the life that you lead. Maybe counseling should be a consideration. Maybe you should take advice from Elsa and "Let it go".

If you are so concerned about names and brands you should go pester the Redskins.

It shouldn't matter why nick comes here.
It shouldn't matter why anyone comes here.
We are still fans of this band.
Maybe the next cd they put out will be better ...Why is it not ok that we are not liking the cd that much? A lot of people didn't like sfbm or V but they are still fans.
I still find it so funny how grown men get so worked up over nick.
You call him a troll yet you're the ones following him around at every wimb.
Grow up and face the facts...There are people that will not like the music and that is okay.

Agreed!! Reading this thread makes me so happy I am first and foremost a Crüe fan (est 1983), because no fellow Crüehead would ever tell another to buzz off (as is done here with the "If you don't like Shinn/The Turn, just quit posting") intolerance. Anyone should have the freedom to post any feeling or opinion here no matter what lead singer he prefers, whether he likes the last four albums or not, whether Ed's solo stuff is excellence or horseshit... If discussing album chart positions/ sales is your thing, one should be able to discuss it without being name called and harassed. Crüeheads are fucking cool enough and HONEST enough to say that the latest songs ("Sex" and "All Bad Things") are just "meh", that Generation Swine and New Tattoo were rubbish albums, but afterwards came greatness with Saints of LA, that Tommy can be an asshole, that you may like or hate Vince, etc. We can agree, disagree, but we are all still a FAMILY and Mötley Crüe is MORE than a band. I and other Crüeheads are relishing seeing our boys on this last tour before they retire in a blaze of glory, with ALL FOUR original members, 33 years strong. We are smart enough to know that new lead singers and drummers can come and go and never say never to an original brotherhood/band being able to mend fences or still hate each other, but can still come together to play for the FANS because the fans are what's most important.
I have LOVED +LIVE+.--Loved them since MJ, STILL listen to them near every damn day, STILL watch Lakini's juice SNL You Tube clip nearly every day and just because I'm not digging the new album that much, and Shinn steps on every nerve I have, I should not be banished to the Ed forum only here, nor should anyone else. No one is "trolling" just because he/she is a suggesting a different opinion/viewpoint from your's and should have the freedom to post it, debate it, defend it anywhere and any which way he wants, in the name of rock n' roll!! rockin.gif
Now lemme go to a Crüe forum where I can disagree with someone in peace.

Not true, Ed wanted a Throwing Copper Anniversary Tour with all four original members. CCP balked. A worldwide tour with all four to celebrate Throwing Copper would have been awesome for the fans, and likely would have sold out worldwide.

I'da paid my whole life savings to have been front row center for that! It sure would have been awesome for the fans, but CCP are too selfish to do it for us. Again, Vince, Tommy, and Nikki got back together while hating each other in 2005 for Crüe FANS (and I'm sure the money didn't hurt either).

Yes, maybe Nick, but the guys I mean for 10 years they heard Ed did some awful performances of certain songs. They were not able to hear them anymore. And Ed decided to run free. You can't leave thinking everything can be the same 5 years after. CCP decided to stay for a while, but enough was enough. Yes, they probably stayed a bit for the security, but now it is just done, and my guess is that they won't reunite. But for all the things you say on CCP, you would be happy for a reunion?

Why would they acquiesce with Ed when the apparently had issues with him and Chris was already the lead singer in LIVE? For a money grab? Where is the integrity to the matter? I read that they were undergoing battles for contractual wrong doings and copyright infringements. I see 1000 page threads on lawsuits here.

LIVE did one TC show. Ed is making it a focal point of his tour and seeing how it's now expanded, milking it seems the appropriate word. I don't understand that at all.

I don't think it's as easy as you're making it out. I saw at the show I attended this year that they are super happy. I see some Ed videos that he's happy too. Why re-unite when no one wants too. They are too far apart musically, besides all the bad blood. It's a final divorce.

Why this constant drive to re-unite? Are you Ed's accountant? Does he have debts to pay and you're the super promoter? I think most of the old standing long time fans are quite happy with the 'new' LIVE. I know there are many that can't see past change and pine for Ed and CCP. But that isn't reality at all, it's personal conflict with oneself that acceptance is not an answer.

But to me after hearing how The Turn, turned out, it's LIVE.
