BTW Live announced they sold out in Belgium tonight. What they didn't say was that they were bumped from the 1100 seat venue to the 432 seat venue.

Apart, Live and Ed solo are forced to play smaller venues for the most part. That works for solo acoustic, but I'm not sure how feasible that is for a full band.

When Ed first went solo, he booked Live sized venues, and they didn't fill. The next two years were filled with downsizing and trying to figure the best way to go forward. He now has found his niche by touring solo acoustic in under 500 seats venues in the US, playing festivals, and touring overseas extensively.

He also realizes that people want to hear the old stuff when they see Ed or Live. That is why the Throwing Copper tour has been so successful.

The ideal going forward would be for Ed to and CCP to mend fences so that Live could tour every summer, and they could do their own thing the rest of the year. They aren't getting any younger, they are basically ancient in rock star years. The window is closing.

The longer Live tours with Shinn, and the longer they play smaller venues, the more they hurt Live's long term viability.

last i heard from a meet n greet this summer, each is doing their own thing. one group because it's fun and scratches their musical itch, the other party must in order to survive

so who cares the size of the room. the post on FB surely looks like its more people than you claim and everyone has their hands in the air having a good time. Again, you're off in the slaying mode for a group of people you either :

A) have wronged you in some capacity
B) enjoy trolling in this board as it goes unchecked as it gives you pleasure
C) are simply trying to fulfill what is missing in your life
D) all of the above

aye aye

The Trix in Antwerp / Belgium is easily accessible for disabled people. The venue itself is entirely at ground level and there's even an elevator you can use.During concerts, there is no wheelchair platform. The bar has a capacity of 180 people the club can hold up to 432 people and the big concert hall up to 1100.

Ed has a net worth of 5 million. Looks like he is surviving better than any of us:

And if they were doing it for fun, they would have stayed with The Gracious Few. Live was brought back to make money, and fill venues.
