Listen, I have no problem with anyone who genuinely doesn't like any efforts from any of these artists. I'm not going to stoop to the name calling either. What I find infuriating is the constant trolling, and the idea that the 4 of them can only create music when they are together. They've already proven they can't happily do that. If you're really that big of an Ed Kowalczyk fan, support him in his solo quest to make the music he really wants to make.

There is so much more to the story.
It was Ed that was being treated like crap and chose a NEW path.

Ed made this band famous with his songwriting and voice.
It's fine if people like the new band but it's not live they are hearing.
It's a whole new band.

Chris has shown he is not the person that should sing the old songs...he should just stick with the new ones.

I am nice. I've put you in the box with Nick, not because you are critical of CCCP and pro-ED, but because your criticisms seem to be reaching and desperate. Case in point is when you commented on the tuning of Chris's acoustic guitar when he did Siren's Call on the radio promo as "sounding out of tune". The truth is that it's Drop-D tuning and you hear the different tuning more an acoustic than when it has distortion processing applied to the electric pick-ups. It's your lack of knowledge, but you didn't let that stop you from saying that his guitar was out of tune.

Nick [well, he does a bit but i do not] and I don't like the new stuff and that is fine.

The only way things will go back to normal around here is if the jimmy clan and others stop insulting and causing trouble. And also if people will just accept others opinions on the music.

If that's the case why hasn't Ed blown up as a solo artist? You act as if the creative process for Throwing Copper was Ed and some studio musicians. That's not how it happened. That is how SFBM happened. Compare the difference.

It's really perfectly fine that you don't like the new music. But I have two questions, why are you posting in this section of the forum then and how is it fair we are being grouped with anyone who harassed your son or family? found this place, thought it was a place for Live fans to hang out, sounds like a war zone based on some of the users i am seeing shelling out negative on CCCP or Ed in this charts thread and Turn threads

I got the turn, i was hoping for it to be very very much like old Live standards and perhaps have some new tones. I was right, which makes me happy as a music fan. I can listen to it, feel it and know it has that IT quality when it comes to Rock Music.

If the record just came out a week ago and from what I understand it's all LIVE doing the work to get it out there, seems that Billboard got it at 133 or whatever, sounds very positive. I don't recall Ed's record, his latest CD, even hitting the main charts top 100 or 200, but I think most of his fans are in Europe these days.

Never thought I'd see another Live album chart ever again. That's not what's important the music is.

It's been not LIVE for so long, I don't care who is singing, it was simply not that dynamic equation since they did that Five record. My 2 cents.

I'm gonna take a look around.

Live works best with the four original members. I don't think any 90's band still has all members in tact. Live still has that ability if they choose to use it.

I'm guessing Ed's act plus new Live amount to more than Live with Ed in terms of touring success and fan appreciation.
