I don't believe you. Your posts are full of contradictions. On the one hand, you say that you are fan of 90s Live and that you consider TC and SS Live's best. On the other hand, you are not fan of hard rock. About half of the songs off both TC and SS are actually quite heavy.

My conclusion is that you either like The Turn a lot but you feel shame to admit or you don't like the original Live sound and you want Live to make albums like SFBM. If it is the former I understand, if it is the latter i think you have no position in a fans of Live forum.

My favorite Live album is The Distance To Here, but I like each album in their own way. I never considered Live to be hard rock band by any stretch, and I am not a fan of The Turn.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has an autographed copy of The Turn playing during his entire commute to and from work. He loves the album and will never admit it.

No haha, i don't believe that, that will probably never happen.
But so what? we enjoy the album that's all that matters, i'm really curious how many albums they have sold the first week in it's release, but like i said before, charts are not important, but it would be interesting to see if it sold more than SFBM in it's first week.

It definitely doesn't matter. He's just a peon.

Anyhow, I hope this album can reach people as it's definitely the best album they have put out since TDTH by far. It finally hit Spotify so hopefully people get wind that this is out and give it a spin.

On a side note, I find it interesting that Live has almost 80,000 followers (and growing) on Spotify and the old lead singer only has less than 2,500.

Wow. 80.000
That's epic. if every follower gives the album a spin on spotify it would be great.

TDTH also had some heavy songs. TC and SS are not hard rock? So TDAOC, Stage, Iris, Hero, Graze etc are what? pop ballads? Your argument just does not make any sense, so please think of something else, otherwise don't post at all.

Cause most of the ex-singer's music is on the Live Spotify page, and it's the best Live will ever offer.

I agree that his example is a bit skewed. But for a guy that was the front man of a massive band in the 90's, with 2 1/2 albums on there to only have 2,300 followers, is a bit sad. Especially since he is doing so well touring according to Nick.

In comparison, Chris Cornell has 66,000 followers.

Ed's success touring is based mainly on his back Live catalog. The new solo material is more for hardcore fans.

That is the same reason CCP brought back Live, and abandoned The Gracious Few.

Since when did they abandon The Gracious Few? KM himself said that there will be more TGF material. And before you bring up the fact the TGF has around 500 followers on Spotify, I see the reasoning for that is because they were not branded with a name from their successful pasts. Plus the music, while solid and awesome, was a fairly niche style. There aren't a lot of people out there now looking for a throwback style to classic rock from a new band. I don't think the boys cared, they wanted to make great music, which they did. That is also the reason they wanted to keep the legacy of LIVE alive as well by making more solid music under the name of THEIR band.

Why do bother? I am sure Nick likes most songs off TGF, too.
