I have yet to buy the album but, given the official site doesn't give the lyrics, I'm split between buying it digitally or buying the CD.

I've noticed iTunes doesn't give the usual digital booklet.

So does the CD have the lyrics in the booklet? If not, I'll just buy the digital version.

Thanks smile.gif

Nope, no booklet. Packaging is very minimal.

If you get the download through their pledge site you have to option to download FLAC files. Big plus!

Now that's a shame! For a band for whom lyrics are very important, it makes no sense that we can't access them officially sad.gif

Hoping someone can answer a novice like myself... I assume FLAC are higher quality files... but will I notice the difference on my laptop... and if not, in what format/media would I notice the difference?

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Compression. There is no compression to the soundwave, only the binary storage. Consider it a playable zip file. MP3 is a lossy compression format. You should definitely notice the difference between MP3s and FLAC.

Also, I don't know about these downloads, but many FLAC files can be even higher quality than CD, because it is not restrainted to 16 bit depth.

Yes there will be a difference, FLAC are 100% quality of the source they are taken from, no quality loss. FLAC are better, but they take up more space. I prefer FLAC If they are legit. There are FLAC files out there (some of which i have downloaded from this site) that i tested with my SPEK Audio Spectrum Analyzer which tells the real quality of your audio file. Some FLAC files were actually converted from a low quality Mp3 to FLAC.

You can download SPEK here (FREE):
