sometimes the animal in the songs isn't free enough.

Well-said! I have had this same thought since hearing the entire album but could not find a way to express it. You hit the nail on the head. I'm excited about the next album because I'm hoping the animal becomes more free.

What animal are you talking about? The music was written in a way to fit the vocals or given what and how Chris could sing they wrote the appropriate music and they excellent in this!!! I find the The Turn written a tone down as compared to TC and SS but i think that it should be like this to fit Chris’ vocals.

I think it's hard to describe otherwise. A recording and production process has so many components that mix together, that it is an art form in itself. You have to play all in time, all instruments have to be heard, not one instrument has to be too dominant, the voice has to fit in the mix.
They have done a good job, but sometimes live it just sound rawer, wilder, less tame than in the Studio versions, without losing the complete timing. It sounds like they're able to let go more ... It's live, sure, it will always be like that. Still ... you know, I am bitching on a very high level.

No just being realistic. There may be a second Live album with Shinn eventually, but isn't happening any time in the near future.

Of course it isn't happening in the near future, they just released an album YESTERDAY. With Ed, the band averaged about 3 years between albums. A lot of bands take even longer. They don't have to churn out an album every 6 months.

Saying they won't release an album in the near future 1 day after an album came out is just shitty trolling.

With Ed Live released a new album every two years from Secret Samahdi to BOP. If I were a betting man, I'd wager that there will be no Live follow-up album with Shinn.

I encourage you to bet everything you own.

I like how you removed the best albums from your equation. 3 years each between MJ, TC, and SS. Sure, they ramped up the pace between albums after that, but the quality went down dramatically.

I'm sure the boys will take their time with the next album. It may take a few years, but they seem very happy with the current set up. That will result in more new music, whether or not you want it.

The thing is you can identify all these because you have knowledge in music. I don't, i just like sngs which speak to me and i do not care for the technocalities, i can't spot them anyway.

Nah, I don't think I am identifying anything. The thing is, I don't know what it is, but something disturbs me. That's actually the opposite. The explanations are just wild guessings.
I am even not saying, that it has to disturb everyone. It's just me, and maybe some others.
This thing I mean is not a positive attribute in itself. It is just one for me.

Ed releases music quickly with compromise on quality. We saw it time and time again and still do today.

For me this "Live" album may is the worst thing released by a member of Live. It gets tiresome very quickly with no real standout songs. I initially liked Siren's Call, but the song become dull after a few listens.

CCP and their ego's ended up having jam sessions that took 3 minute songs and made them 4/5 minute songs for no real reason. That is fine once or twice on an album, but not for virtually every song. I wasn't a huge fan of the majority of TGF's music, but that album runs circles around The Turn.
