Dude! I agree. This logo just simply means they have a new band member. Why the constant Ed bashing in here?!? For those of us who don't kiss Chris Shinn's ass and can say that he's just...meh, we are told to move on, to get over it. Well, practice what you preach... stop drinking the Ed Hater-aid! And no, I do not like Ed's solo stuff--it is dog shit (to me). Hard to believe after watching Angels on a Razor vid that this is a guy who supposedly was an Ozzy Osbourne loving metal head in school. I miss the old Ed, but I don't hate him. I do often wonder, where did his "crazy eyes" go... what changed? Was it when he got married? Was it that he found God and stopped following Adi Da (or whoever)? Did he stop smoking weed? Change brands of coffee? I dunno! So what if he asked for a lead singer bonus?! Who is to say that CCP & Ed aren't on speaking terms? What do we really know?

I'd love to see Ed live, would love to run into him and be able to talk to him, etc. He is still the same lyrical genius that penned the Secret Samadhi CD in my car's player right now. Do you all know how many times that voice has sang me to sleep at night!? How do you just start hating someone who once meant so much to you? If I get a chance to see Ed's solo show, I'll just go take a pee or get a beer when he sings his new stuff. And if I get a chance to see CCCP, I'll be happy to. I'm just not going to say that CS walks on water, cause he doesn't!

Obviously, if they are trying to move on, using a logo that refers to Ed would be a lame move. Pretty sure it has nothing to do with him, but it can be argued that any picture, lyric, etc. is about Ed. That's why horoscopes work, if you look at it the right way it applies to you.

To me it means what the cover of album means where three arrows point to the right and the last one to the left. Above the last one there is sunshine. I interpret this as the last three albums (namely V, BoP, and SFBM) which constituted a dramatic turn away from Live. The fourth album (The Turn), however, turns back to Live.

I don't see that, you're reaching as far as the people representing albums. What we know is CCP and Ed had conflict. So, to me the new album cover is is OBVIOUSLY making a reference to Ed. I mean it is all about butting heads with him (3 Against 1), if it ends up not having to do with that, then it's the MOST SUGGESTIVE thing i've ever seen. I highly doubt this is the case. They obviously have not been 100% sure about which album cover to use also. They were probably like: "fuck it, lets go with the slightly controversial one"! I do like the album cover BTW!

Yeah, it would be cool to find out, but i don't think it's as deep as we are making it. It's pretty much straight forward and to the point.
