The time change in this song is very awesome, and I think that the bridge really makes the song. "do me wrong yeeeaaah." That just gets me pumped up.

I miss the guitar sound of that album, so unique.

Hey, question, edstipe: Do you count all the b-sides / rarities / non-album stuff? (Born Branded, Cheetah, Susquehanna, The Beacon, Depper, Still Aroused, etc.) Because you should -- there'sa lot of good stuff that never made the albums.

I definitely plan on including the b-sides/rarities, and covers, this time around. I still don't have a copy of "The Beacon" though, can somebody direct me where I can download it?

I love this song.

I lived there as a kid, and even though I'm in a different place now, I'm still there.

As for the song itself, Chad Gracey kicks my ass every time I hear it.

Very good song, a simple straight up rocker that goes over well in concert. I was real happy to hear it again on the recent Awake tour .. it got a great reception from the crowd and probably the biggest roar of the night of any song once it was over.

It's nice to see Ed playing an electric guitar once again .. for some reason with a couple of exceptions I just associate Ed and acoustic guitars as a bad combination because it starts getting into cheese-land.

Like a lot of people I identified because the town I grew up in, the town I live in now and the town where I am posting this from all certainly qualify as shit towns.

Such a rocking song, i can only imagine what it must be like to hear this in concert.

I remember during religion afew years ago, our teacher played "lightning crashes". After that was finished some guys in my class asked her if they could play some more tracks off the album because there's so many other great songs on it. She replied "ok, but make sure there's no swearing in the song" lol.gif She almost had a heart attack when she heard the song...........good times guitar.gif

Love, Love this song. My boyfriend does too. He lives in a shall we say, not so nice neighborhood and trust me he can relate because the crack heads literally live down the street, hell, down the hallway from him nervous.gif . No kidding, they look just like the dude from Chappelle's Show with the white cracked lips and jittery movements. They are always begging for 50 cents.

As for the sentiment of the song. Hell yeah at some point in time, I think most of us can relate to this song. I love the bridge when Ed gets really wild and crazy with his vocals: "Do me wrong, yeahhhhhh......" music.gif

They played it. Ed led in with "This song is the reason why I need an urban assault vehicle to go into York, PA."
