So uh....it's been a long time since I've logged on! #understatementoftheyear

I'll be the first to admit that I have sorta fallen away from the Live scene since the breakup. I still love the music, don't get me wrong. But I don't really consider myself part of the scene anymore. I haven't updated Live Collector's Resource in years, I no longer collect, and to be perfectly honest I'm not super interested in Chris Shinn as lead singer. Nothing personal against the guy, I'm just a Live traditionalist. wink.gif

Anyway, I'm in the process of moving into a house with my girlfriend. So, we're sorting through our stuff and trying to decide what we need to keep and what can be sold off or given away. I opened up a closet and what did I find? About 700 releases by Live smile.gif A lot of the REALLY rare stuff has been sold off in years gone by, but I'm ready and willing to give these releases new homes. That being said, I have NO IDEA what the Live collector fanbase looks like anymore. Who are the collectors these days? What's in demand?

I'm at work right now, but I'll try to provide a list of what's available within about a week. I have to go through EVERYTHING and that's a huge task.

Waiting for your list, Swami.
Can imagine the fact that the changes make you think hard about the real LIVE - feeling.
Good luck with making the list, will wait for it.
Hope your house will be a place of peace, rest and happiness

Here's a link to the collection as it was about 3 years ago. There may be some items listed that I've since sold off, but overall this should be pretty accurate. Getting to the different sections of the collection (albums, singles, radio shows, etc...) is done using the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

If you're interested in anything, please notify me by e-mail (swamilive at gmail dot com) or in this forum. It'll be first come first served.

Again, I love this band, and collecting Live since I was 13 has been an amazing trip, but it's time to clear out the collection. I will continue to host Live Collector's Resource and at some point I may even give it a facelift. I'd like to continue being in the community and providing the discography, but it's not my top priority right now. Updates will be few and far between, but they will eventually happen.

Enjoy the list, and let's make some deals smile.gif

UPDATE: I just took a look at the list I provided and it is quite outdated. I'll provide a more up-to-date one ASAP but I'll leave this one up for reference right now. Please forgive me if you request something and I tell you it's already gone. I thought this list would be more up-to-date.

Swami - I'd be interested in any unreleased stuff you may have like the Trasmit Your Love "Beer Down" version. Before you fade out from the scene would you have any other songs like that you could share?

Swami, I know you've been out of the scene for a while but wondering if you picked up the new one from Ed, and if so what are your thoughts on it. To me it sounds like old Live - still digging it after couple months now.

Hey Swami, long time no read hi.gif

Just wanted to see if you've had a chance to check out the 10CD +Live+ Rarities Collection I put together recently? Your discography website was an incredibly valuable resource in putting it together so a huge thanks for putting it together and keeping it online all these years! thumbsup.gif

If you're referring to The Flood And The Mercy, I have not yet heard it, but I plan to pick it up next time I'm out. I'd rather have a physical copy than plop down money to iTunes for some files. Guess nothing much has changed wink.gif If on the other hand you're referring to The Hurry And The Harm, that's actually an album by City And Colour, which is definitely worth checking out.

I assure you Live Collector's Resource will be around for many years to come. And, I have hopes that once I learn some web 2.0 skills I'll open it up to submissions and so forth. Clearly, it needs a sick overhaul for the new age and that will come with time and effort. Meanwhile, enjoy its outdatedness as a resource for all things pre-2008 Live smile.gif

I briefly saw the tracklist for your 10CD collection, but I haven't given it a solid look yet. Maybe after this salmon and wine?

Swami,
That's a huge collection, knowing that a great deal already is gone.
Waiting for your list.
Good luck making it.

Hi everyone,

I expected it to take a week and it pretty much has wink.gif I've got only a few more piles of releases to catalog, but I think if I power down on it tonight I can have the list ready by later tonight.

For those who have already put some items on reserve, I will get postage calculated for you in a day or two. smile.gif
