I think all with be pleased with the improvement in sound quality that a little remastering from someone who knows what they are doing has resulted in thumbsup.gif

sorry i totally misunderstood....i thought you were saying that you had some never heard before tracks that would be released in your future collection of demos....but you are saying that your friend remastered tracks and put them in volume four of this collection. can't wait to hear em!

Then perhaps maybe get rid of the "V" label for the Radiant Sea studio tracks because that's all speculation, right? People actually thought Tricky was rapping on Radiant Sea too....there's no way that is true.

Didn't Chad Taylor confirm they were 'V' outtakes on his blog a couple of years back?

And yeah, that's definitely not Tricky on Radiant Sea rolleyes.gif

I just re-read his blog post (great read: http://www.fansoflive.com/forums/lofiversi...t3315-150.html) ...sorry no mention of the Radiant Sea tracks.

It was only mentioned in the fansoflive thread, reposted within a recent thread in this forum, as speculation from the same people who thought Tricky was the rapper.

All we know is that these bsides are on radiant sea.

It might not have been on his blog, but someone in the band did confirm they were from the 'V' sessions:

Dan - do you remember by who and how this was confirmed?...

I apologize if I missed it....do you list out where these tracks come from? So the completists like me can hunt them down? I think I helped contribute a few songs to this myself.... guitar.gif

Yes! The liner notes contained in the artwork will list the sources of the tracks used thumbsup.gif

Does anyone have a copy of the album "Something Simple" by Stuart Davis?

The song "Miracle" on it features Ed Kowalczyk and I was hoping to replace the mp3 I have of this for the collection with a FLAC rip.

I see it's on Amazon for $3, so if anyone in the US wants to purchase it for their collection (and help us out with a FLAC rip while they're at it tongue2.gif ), here the link:

I've finally finished a draft of the liner notes. There are bound to be some typos, so if anyone cares to take a look through these to proof read that would be very much appreciated as a fresh set of eyes is what is needed after the hours it took to write these smile.gif

Please let me know if you notice any typos, mistakes (no matter how minor), misaligned artwork or if you can add any missing information.

In particular, I had trouble finding more info on 'Smoke'. Mining google, I was able to find out this much:

Wow, Ridley, these liner notes look beautiful. I can't believe how much work you've put into this. So grateful for it, and soooooo excited for this to be finished.

For the past 18 months I have been gradually chipping away at this project to collect together every +Live+ track that has appeared on an officially released single, holiday gift, soundtrack, compilation or promo. I'm happy to say that I'm almost there - artwork is being finalised and this should be ready to share with the fan community before Christmas smile.gif

She (Extended Version) - 320kbps
Everytime I See Your Face (Extended) - 320kbps
Mystery (with Daughtry) - 192kbps

Smoke [Stuart Davis featuring Ed 2006] - 193kbps
Miracle [Stuart Davis featuring Ed 2008] - 245kbps

I am the one who originally provided the extended versions to the site...I have them on CD which I assume would be the highest quality possible. Let me know what you need

Chad Taylor recently posted on Facebook that "Hold Me Up" was always known as "Spew" to him.
