03. The Beauty of Gray
04. The Distance
05. Shit Towne
06. They Stood Up For Love
07. Lightning Crashes
08. Heropsychodreamer
09. The Dolphin's Cry
10. Lakini's Juice
11. Run to the Water
12. I Alone
13. Dance With You

Thanks for that. I don't think I've watched this video before and I can't recall Ed's silver guitar! thumbsup.gif

I have a FLAC of 2000-08-22 Holmdel, NJ (SFX radio broadcast) - is this the one?

Yes, that is the one. I thought I would play around with making this video more watchable on a DVD. I ran it through a bunch of filters in virtualdub, and thought it would be nice to have a better source for the audio. It's still kind of crappy, but might be OK to watch on a TV now. I'd be happy to share the result if anyone is interested. screenshot below.

dangum, would you mind re-uploading the show. It looks like your links are dead here: http://www.fansoflive.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4271

I've re-uploaded the FLAC files (and MP3s).

not sure if anyone is interested in this, but I should have it done soon. What's interesting is that the video is uncut (maybe) while the FLAC broadcast that dangum reuploaded is edited down. Four tracks have been edited out for the broadcast. I am syncing the FLAC broadcast to the video, and filling in the gaps with the audio from the ASF video. I tried to improve the ASF audio some, but it was compressed pretty heavily.

I thought when the ASF video was first posted that this would be a good thing to do one day and here you are already taking care of it - great work thumbsup.gif

Can't wait to see the final result bounce.gif

thanks guys. Here is the link to the download folder:

I did the best I could to improve it. It's still not awesome, but I think it can be watched on a TV now. The heavy ASF compression caused some weird frame rate problems and stuttering. At times it looks slightly out of sync, but I'm pretty sure its just the jerkiness.

Here's what I did:

-fixed the corrupted ASF headers
-filtered video (long filter chain) in virtualdub to remove as much as the ghosting/macroblocking as possible. saved to lagarith (lossless) AVI
-encoded video to DVD specs with CCE
-synced lossless broadcast audio. Filled the gaps with filtered audio from the video file.

it was brought to my attention that part 16 was missing from the folder. I added it. Let me know if it doesn't show up or work.
