Yeah. Had he thought out his moves a bit better during that era, Live would probably still be alive today. He took sole control of the direction of the band and look what happened. It has left us this.

You know what? Ed even wrote 90% of the new album LIVE is writing atm so far. Without even being there. Yeah, that's stunning, huh? really! But don't tell anyone. Ed says he wants to move on.

You mean taking their time to craft an album that is worthy of being placed amongst their early work instead of spitting out generic pop rock.

Again, Eds doing his thing, he got what he wanted in the end, to do HIS music HIS way.

3 tours, 1 ep and 2 full albums later....and we still wait...for something...anything ...from live 2.0. Nothing.

Yeah. Ed wins. He has done nothing but prove himself and that he def still has it in him to write great songs. The new album is amazing.

Some of you know it and are just too damned stupid to admit it. I can bet 10 bucks most of you already got it and are rocking out to it.

I don't want to band wagon here and i sure am sick of the constant deviations from every topic imaginable into Ed and live break up land "hey did u hear about Syria using chemical weapons? No but that prick kowalzcyk got up n left Live"

Its been literally 4 years or so now.....

Anyway i think that Ed is fulfilling his obligations toward us pretty well as an artist he is releasing new music regularly, had maintained his minor levels of fan engagement and apart from a few recent G rated jabs at Live up until now regardless of His own past conduct has been pretty professional and stoic about the whole thing.

Ed has not ranted or raved on twitter, facebook or blog & he hasn't called liVe out for their music or lack thereof...

And while i definitely think there is something to be said for being in a band and splitting equally unless that is always prior agreed upon. Each booklet from TDTH on specifically states "music & lyrics" Ed kowalczyk - "all songs by Ed kowalczyk" "performed by LiVe".

I could play drums to every live track since samadhi and i would have no right to ask anything beyond a session musician fee unless i brought some new ideas in or it was pre-arranged that i got a fair cut of the profits of the songs ed wrote.

V's Booklet says "All songs written by Ed Kowalzcyk, performed by LIVE"

TDTH says same excepting RTTW WFG VL and TSUFL - clearly indicating that CCP wanted some credit where and when it was due. But if Ed has completed a song n all they do is play along he is entitled to claim it as his own.

Chad claims lakinis juice riff, PLOTR n Selling T D....He claims those cuz he wrote them. Ed has the right to claim the others. Especially if in the case of SFBM where chad admits not even "writing his own guitar parts" - how is that contributing?

Having said all that: i hVe no doubt in my mind that Ed K was at times incredibly hard to deal with and increasingly distant when it comes to band relations and group writing.
