Here's 76 short QuickTime vidoes from the 1997 Club tour. I downloaded these from LIVE's site way back when. They are filmed with a camera. Many from back stage. Very low res so not worthy for display on any screen bigger than an Iphone but they are a good archival glimpse of LIVE in their prime.

You should be able to go to the below link and download the clips:

'97 Club/Summer Tour on Dropbox

Enjoy

If interested, I also have the 1997 Summer Tour and other clips.

Wow, I loved hitting up the old live.cerf.net site hoping that footage from a new tour date had been uploaded. These days we take this sort of stuff for granted but back in the 90's it was a major effort to be able to digitize video, encode it and then upload it online.

Major props go to Jimmy for being on the cutting edge back then and thanks to Redrock for bringing the videos back to us. thumbsup.gif

Dear Redrock,

always interested in the earlier work and performance of +LIVE+.
So if possible the 1997 Summer Tour (and the other clips) are welcome.

A lot of the audio/video links that were archived by archive.org are broken. You'll need to visit multiple versions of live.cerf.net to find a complete set.

Dangum, if you want to change the title of the thread and link, be my quest.

Enjoy

Check out hann-sndck.mov from the Club tour. Chad Taylor singing 'Blister in the Sun' with Ed on drums.

Redrock: Did you manage to get any of the Real Video of the Week videos?

These are in the same folder as the rest. Need RealMedia Player to view (which I need to get!) . Enjoy.

Good stuff. Those RealVideos bring back a lot of memories. The RealVideo format was superior to Quicktime as you could fit a longer length of video for the same file size. While a QT video would be 30 seconds for a 5 megabyte file, you could have a 5 minute file for the same size.

BTW, I use VLC to play QT and RV files. You can get it from here. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

So a hopeful bump to see if someone can re-upload the files into Dropbox or similar? Was trawling through the cerf site on archive.org and would love to get the full set to re-live the Secret Samadhi era!
