I thought it was pretty damn good, although Ed's voice wasn't as "on" as it was on American Idol. Still a great, crowd-pleasing performance, though! thumbsup.gif

Did the show cut off at the end of Lightning Crashes for everyone else, too? sad.gif

QUOTE(The Quebeker @ Jun 2 2006, 5:25 pm) *

if anyone can get me the video.... Pm me or so... Plz!

I've got the WMV files of each song, but no way to host them. Dan or Quebeker or anyone else can you host them? They are about 16MB each.

Ugh...just listened to Lightning Crashes...did they really cut out the bridge? Please tell me that was a recording glitch...if they had to cut, cut the first half of the first verse like they usually do when they have to cut that song down

Let me state again...UGH...that sounded like shit

on a brighter note, Mystery continues to grow on me...good performance

They did cut out a big chunk of the song, it was so obvious. One second it's just the band on stage, and then Ellen pops on stage and is dancing next to Ed. Didn't care to see her dance, but she did say Live is one of her favorite bands, so she's OK by me thumbsup.gif

woow, after seeing only mystery, I think they did a very good job cool.gif I like to see the whole band in comparison of Ed promoting the album on his own earlier this year cry.gif

So good to see this
and ohw, I think Adam was great too, they zoomed in a lot on him,

but I was wondering... who did the second voice when Adam wasn't part of the Live-shows? I guess ChadT? I think I hear him at the studio version of LC fior example

Chad T used to do all backing vocals on stage, pre-Adam (and Ralio (vomit))...at least since 94 or so (can't speak to earlier performances...any old school fans that can comment on this?)

There wasn't as much backing vocals back then as there is now...you got Chad T to step up to the mike only for Selling the Drama, Pillar of Davidson, Pain Lies on the Riverside, Cheetah, Shit Towne, and I Alone during the TC Tour, circa 94/95...

As far as albums, it's intersting to note that Chad Gracey is credited with background vocals on Throwing Copper...always wondered what song(s) he chimes in on? smile.gif

By the way, thank god CG is apparently not that good of a singer...nothing more appalling than a drummer that sings while drumming, IMO

Thanks for the links/downloads. Enjoyed it! Only thing I didn't like was the mic stand in front of
Ed's face... lol.gif
Otherwise, I totally enjoyed it. Liked the closeups of all of them and Adam DID sound great, too.
