He doesn't have to do anything else as long as the song sounds good
and just listen, they do!
this is still in the early stages
so when the tour hits this summer
he will be more than ready in his parts
I am sure once he feels more comfortable, he can let loose
he isn't Ed, Ed left the band, and I wish him nothing but the best
replacing a lead singer is hard enough

Enjoying the new track quite a bit. Shame it's not an electric performance though, I can't wait to hear them rocking out on some new stuff.

Not sure about Shinn's rendition of older tracks though, his voice changes to be too much like Ed's. He should put his own stamp on them a bit more.

I think that NEW song is really going to rock. Loved the urgency in the rhythm guitar bass n drums. I literally missed Gracey's drumming style in my ears - didn't think that was possible.

I also think Chris fits in perfectly well with the other guys and he sounds good.

His voice is different to Ed's; more expressive in some ways but It probably can't go the same places.

Overall: VERY EXCITING!!! Bring it on LIvE!

Maybe they should leave Lightning Crashes alone. That sounded very much like the karaoke version I can listen to on demand on my cable system. Not good at all.

I listened to the new song many times and i have come up with following facts, to my taste:

1. I like the song a lot. I hope this song is representative of the new Live album.
2. It is melodic
3. It is catchy and memorable
4. Is has good lyrics
5. It is better than anything Live produced since TDTH, with the exception of Like I Do and Lighthouse. But still i do not know how the electric version sounds like.
6. It is better than many songs off MJ and TDTH and a few off SS and TC.
7. It is different than anything Live made but still powerful.
8. The new song within the context of the best Live songs: purely fantastic, it fit perfectly
9. Chris is excellent.
10. Live is back, enjoy!

I disagree with all those who say leave that Live song alone and that song is not for Chris etc. Chris performed all of them perfectly. Beauty of Gray was amazing.

Just like you've said your piece before? Do you not Like Chris Shinn or Live reforming without Ed? Man you should have SAID something! We were all wondering what your opinion on it was!

I'd rather a band getting back into the swing of things after a long hiatus than a band/man who has no creativity and spontaneity so that everything always runs the same like the same boring old shit over and over. Say the same things, do the same things. It's like going to see a theater production run to a script. That's not live music.
