i hope i don't sound too negative when i say this, but that would actually suck balls. ed's voice is different. the personality of the band is different. there's no way they could ever reproduce the magic that was in the throwing copper version. i'd prefer the crappy recording we have already.

that's just my 2 cents, though.

Yeah we don't need Ed's womanly touch on this song.

Isn't that Ed's quote about Supernatural? I'm glad you made that distinction, because all of the songs written by aliens and goats are way more beautiful.

You can't forget about Vine Street? That was never an official release but was on one of the older Holiday gifts if my memory serves me right.

Vine street was included on the Dolphins Cry Single - well in Oz anyway.

QUOTE(drewgood @ Jun 1 2006, 3:37 pm) *

why don't we instead focus on requesting just one SONG for them to put out.

If nothing was released back when Live was huge in the US, I highly doubt anything will be released at this point in time, unless they can get their new and/or future albums to go platinum. Either that or they strike a deal with iTunes like so many big bands have done recently.

I'd like to hear Don't Wait, or something of that nature.

A good quality studio version of "Don't Wait" is already in circulation.

QUOTE(Bob @ Jun 1 2006, 6:48 pm) *

The only song that I want to hear a studio cut of is Still Aroused. I know it's out there. I want it.

Good things come to those who wait.

I liked the live version of Vine Street. The recording killed it.

What part of the studio version don't you like. The sirens?

Yes, this is what Ed said about Supernatural but everybody could think of this sentence, i don't understand why you made this point. Email Ed to sue me.

My reference to human beings is not for distinguishing them from animals but for stressing how great "Lift me up" is.

Deeper from TDTH sessions. I'm not sure if it was a b-side on something but the song is way too good to be left off the album. It fits in with The Distance perfectly.

"Don't Wait" appeared on the Pilgrimage to the Southern Stars release and "Cheetah" was recorded off of the WHFS radio station back in the 90's...
