haha don't think you read my post correctly, I know he's not innocent. I'm saying IF he was innocent, then he should be fighting tooth and nail to win a fraudulent lawsuit brought against him, smearing his name and reputation and not settling. IF he was innocent, but of course it doesn't look like he wants to do that, which to me is Eddie K jumping up and down going "Hey I'm guilty LOL"

The legal system usually takes many years and a lot of money before you reach a conclusion reached by 12 usually inexperienced people that can go either either. Settlement is usually the preferred avenue to just end the inconvenience of it all.

If I had money like Ed did and was completely innocent, able to prove it and had a clear conscious and someone was trying to ruin my life, my name, my career, my family etc ... it is NOT the best option to take. How many times have you been to a court, took part in a process, lost it and won it to say this?

I think Ed should have to pay on royalties. I'm assuming the lawsuit is about him selling recordings of his acoustic shows so I can't imagine it would be for very much.
