Not sure it will be totally hushed. It shouldnt be, I think people want to know. Ed's gone on his campaign of hijacking Live's name....the public has a right to know what he did is true and how far reaching.

Nick wants that more than anything else in this world I'd bet, for his hero Eddie K not to be exposed as the fraud, liar and thief that he is. In some ways it's why I don't want them to settle, I would like justice to see Eddie K exposed for who and what he's become.

Of course the logic train knocks on the door and says that if Ed is as innocent as he proclaims to be in that he has done NOTHING wrong, as his song even claims, then why would he settle? These would be men that have come along with 100% false accusations ... if he has nothing to hide and the means to prove innocence, then surely he'd fight this thing for his name, for his life, his career, his family, his fans, his music, his integrity ... if what Ed says is true, then CCP have threatened all of that. Oh, but Ed wants to settle. Surprise.
If I were Ed, and I were 100% innocent, I'd want CCP to pay for attempting this shit, I wouldn't settle for settling, I'd defeat their fraudulent case in court, if they wanted to bring the suit I'd say make them bring it all the way to the end. But, Eddie K isn't innocent and so he'll get out of it any way he can.
Makes so much more sense than Eddie K professing innocence but then still giving CCP some money in a settlement, just because he's such a nice guy!

As for CCP, personally I only wish they would see it through and not settle, but they're the ones who brought the suit, so I guess they can decide how far they want it to go and what they're happy with; but I'd say go the whole hog.

Newsflash..... He's Not Innocent. The 'Evidence' is overwhelming.

And 12/14 is to meet to move closer to settlement. It's the next phase of trial, and a phase to accelerate past Ed's team trying to delay.

Going to trial is a costly, time consuming ordeal. If you can settle a lawsuit out of court, it is ALWAYS the best option.
