I think the EP is much less Christian than Alive was to be honest.

Full album of original material, or an album consisting of the EP's regular tracks plus other new songs?

And you'd be happy with this? You'd be perfectly happy with all 4 EP tracks being on the album? ... wow ... if Live did that I'd be furious. You obviously care more about how it sells than getting as many new songs as possible and the music. Surprises.

I guess the EK can do no wrong huh?

What's the over/under on how many copies this sells? I'll set the line at 2,500 copies. I'm willing to make a good wager and take the under. Who wants to take me up on that?

Getting 12-15 new songs is awesome, who cares if I got the first four a few months in advance?

Paying for the same songs twice? Dear god ... I know quite a lot of musicians do this, and it's disgusting when any of them do it. But the fact you're totally fine with it, that sums you up perfectly. If Ed does go down this path it is some major cash grab/laziness.

5 new songs and 5 remixes for the EP cost 7 bucks. 8 new songs on the full album(with 4 songs from the EP) will cost roughly 10 bucks. Splitting hairs. You can also always just download the songs you don't already have.

this forum is becoming total bullsh&%t really.....to harp on about being double charged for 4 songs because we got them early with a few mixes for the arm and a leg price of 6 bucks is total crap someone needs to find a hobby.

And why does every damn ed topic head back to a lawsuit that 99% of ppl don't give a crap about???!?!?! It is driving people away from this forum who wants to hear the same crap over and over...bands break up all the time and its not usually amicable who cares.

And while I'm at it we all know that Ed has a new taste now and will not recreate throwing copper so accept it and move on if you dont like his new stuff piss off and stay in the 90's because some people do like his new music and actually want to talk about it.

Care to back up your 99% comment? No one here is expecting Ed to go back and do Throwing Copper. People are driven away over the continued lies from one or 2 trolls, trying to rewrite Live's history. I for one, have invested a lot of time and money in this band over a long time to simply stand by and accept what has happened with Ed taking over.

You're here so I can see you must care about something,

I hope Ed sells this "new album" at half price. People have already bought the 5 EP songs...and if Ed wants you to pay full price for a "new album" with what will be only half new songs for those that bought the EP then he will have stooped to a new low.

The only way Ed goes lower is if he does the "Album Only" option in iTunes where you can only purchase the new songs if you buy the entire album (thus buying the EP songs again).

Yes, but we must give credit to those who collect all versions of artists releases. This is fair of course.

Now if Ed is charging 15.99 to 20.99 then that's not right,

while we're at this...should the remaining members of live decrease the price of mental jewelry by 1/6 because operation spirit and pain lies by the riverside were also included on the EP, Four Songs?
