Hmm, it changes all the time for me, but the one that stuck out right away for me was:

Mystery

I just loved it as soon as I heard it. Sofia, Home, Where Do We Go From Here? and Love Shines are all favorites of mine, but Mystery has been staying at the top.

Night Of Nights

The way that it changes tempo into the chorus...

i think the river is the worst song. the chorus is very bad. all the remaining songs are good especially wings, show and night of nights

"Night of Nights" is best overall, it is darker, deceny lyrics, the instrumentation is a bit more experimental...however, I really do love "Show"!! Would be a great single. "Where Do We Go From Here" sounds the most like old Live, that song is great. I love "Sophia" as well, and if it is really about wisdom, I like it even more with that meaning. SO here goes:

1. NIght of Nights 10/10
2. Where Do we Go From Here 10/10
3. SHow 9/10
4. Sophia 9/10
5. Wings 8/10
6. Mystery 7/10 (take the strings out and it is 8/10)
7. Love SHines 6/10
8. Get Ready 5/10
9. Home 5/10
10. All I Need 5/10
11. The River 4/10

And "You Are Not ALone" 1/10 is one of the worst Live songs ever, don't like it in the slightest!!!!

I really love the opening riff on NoN. Kind of sounds like some old school Live.

"Wings" is also really growing on me now. In concert I thought it was the worst song they played, but I'm really starting to love it on the album.

Every song just keep growing on me. With the exception of All I need and You are not Alone. Just not sticking with me yet. Not really bad songs but just don't seem to be up to par with the rest of the album.

Home also another underated song on this album. Anyone else hear Ed's lisp in the first couple verses? Kinda weird.

Well, it's been changing a lot, I loved Wings right away from the first time I heard it, and still do, but at the mo my favourite is Night of Nights. I bet it'll change again some time soon.

Worst song on the album (a 'skip' moment for me, definitely...) is You Are Not Alone. I don't get that song.. and I doubt I ever will! But except that one, I love the entire album! nod.gif

I like Wings. Even if it does sound like the music in a commercial for a new Applebee' s chicken wing sampler platter.

Mystery-heee-eeeeee.

I’m usually a HUGE fan of Ed’s vocal style, but there is something about the vocals in “Mystery” that I really don’t like. His voice almost takes on a whiney quality – it’s too high pitched and nasal-sounding (and I'm not just referring to the chorus). It’s almost like the track is playing too fast – he’s nearly got that chipmunk effect going on. I generally like the song itself, but the studio version sounds like Ed is trying to impersonate a woman. I don't feel it was a good choice for the second single...

I totally agree with what you said. It's still a pretty cool song though, I like the live version alot.

Yup - I thought the performance on Ellen was especially good. THAT is how the studio version should have sounded...IMO, anyway... hehe.gif
