Hope he is not serious, but it's still a bad joke.

A normal everyday life has enough ups and downs to write intense music about, I don't need the big drama filling the sensational press...

I've always said that Live would be one of the most boring bands to have on VH1's "Behind the Music".

and that's a compliment.

McPheezy should produce the next Live album.

Fuck that: I should write it.

While I wasn't entirely serious, I wasn't joking either.

I think the band definitely needs to be more involved in the writing process. From V on, Ed has done almost all of the writing. On BOP, ED & CT wrote Lighthouse, and Ed, Pat & CT wrote Like I Do, which IMO are the best songs on the cd. Before V, the entire band was always credited with writing the songs w/Ed generally credited w/all the lyrics. When V was written, CT was distraught that Ed basically wrote it without him.

While Pheezy's suggestion is a bit harsh, i agree w/the intent that Ed needs a dose of angst. maybe he should be locked away w/Bill O'Reilly for several months or a year. That would definitely piss him off!

dude, that would piss off just about anybody!!!!

while i would never wish ill will on ANYONE, a wee bit of angst goes a long way.

I'd be happy if it would just come out on the FIRST release date that was announced.

Better Live playing happy music then them playing the music like Marilyn Manson or NIN or A Perfect Circle. Or worse, those new bands that the idiot teenagers like.

My answer to the topic question:

Take Throwing Copper, get rid of Stage, insert Lift Me Up.

That's the perfect album.

That is all smile.gif
