Do you really think the EP is better, than, say, Lightning Crashes or I Alone?

I personally think that Lightning Crashes is the best song that Ed ever helped create. That said, I am enjoying the EP as much as I ever did any new LIVE album when I first purchased it.

Great, so that somehow equates to this being some of his best work ever? Comparing Ed these days to what Live did in the 90s is a crime. First off, the music is nothing like that. I'm not sure how anyone could hear it and say otherwise. Secondly, what Live accomplished in the 90s is special and deserves a certain reverence by fans and band members alike. The more Ed and his fans try to associate what he is doing now with what he did (as part of Live) in the 90s, the more it diminishes how truly unique and special that time period was. The way Ed talks about his past though, it seems as though he does not have much reverence for what he created (with Live). His references to "those individuals" and his continual references to how much of the songwriting he did suggests that he always saw himself as Live. Therefore, there is no difference now. Any fan of Live in the 90s would recognize a big difference.

Somehow I am on Ed's mailing list when I never signed up in the first place. Probably stole the FOL mailing list? That being said, I just gave Ed a scathing reply. I know he probably won't read it but I figured I'd tell whoever is reading it how much he sucks and how bad he ruined the good Live name.

I am still cracking up about this. You DO know that this is a Live fan message board don't you? It is for fans of the band Live to post messages. You say that I have a blog called Live Fan Journal as if that is some sort of smack in the face.

I find your blind ignorance to be so fascinating and amusing. Keep it up Nick. You are the only reason I have to ever return to this message board and see what is being said. Your written words are like a Jackass movie on a continuous loop. You keep coming here publicly lighting your genitals on fire and I like to check in and watch it and laugh histerically (That was a metaphor, just that you know. I don't think you would recognize the technique unless I explicitly pointed it out.).

I guess the upside if people like yourself not liking the Live album is actually a positive thing, if you hate it then it means ill probably like it a lot more, then again you already hate it and you haven't heard it, so..

Ah just admit it dude, you only like Ed and Ed is the only part of Live you can identify with and like. So, here's a question: without mentioning sales, tickets, crowd sizes, fans, charting or merch - why do you want Ed and CCP to get back together and perform as Live? From a MUSICAL stand point, why do you want this to happen as you stated you do?
