Oh Nick, where to start...

firstly you totally overlooked my point of Live/public affection, the fact you only see a name as opposed to a collection of musicians, speaks volumes.

you say Live had no success before Ed, well yeah not many high school kids do have massive success, you have absolutely no counter point to compare this too.. I could just as easily say CCP could have got another singer and become the biggest band since The Beatles, its just as credible because its an alternate reality we never would know. You can say its unlikely but it was unlikely that a bunch of kids from York would do as well as they did.. You can't say its all because of Ed because if he was THAT good he wouldn't need to cling to the Live name now like he is to remain relevant.

also for fucks sake how many times do we have to go over it with you that Live are making a new album right now, slowly yes, but its happening. We are glad they're not rushing things as much as Ed is which produces a shitty product in the end due to haste. Its all Ed has.

Ed was a founding member of the band Live. Some kids in high school were jamming and asked another dude to join in and jam with them. They made a whole album under a different name with this dude. Next they made every single other album under the name Live with this dude since. ALL 4 created the music of Live at the time. ALL 4 were founding members of the band.
He WAS a founding member of Live. Then he quit and now is no longer a member of Live.
