Actually, if you read up on the surgery, it's been known to improve a singers voice, because the flow of air is better.

I haven't spoken to him after the surgery, but I've heard that surgery is done differently now, they don't pack it anymore they use a splint. I hope that's the case because I know what you're saying. My brother in law had that surgery and he said the same thing about the packing. It was hell when they took it out.

I have to find out because I am seriously considering it. Bad sinus headaches every single day is wearing thin!

oh really, wow, that's wimping out in this day and age. I still have the sinus issues but not as bad, what's worse is a constant nasal drip because it doesn't get blocked.

When I had the cotton yanked it was 2 feet long, i couldnt believe it. Yeah, it was serious hell.

You still have sinus issues? Was it worth the surgery? My brother doesnt think so.

Mine are mostly allergy related. I can breathe better, but I still get the occasional sinusitis.

I wondered where the 2 feet of cotton fit myself. It goes all up through and down your windpipe, not sure how but thats where it was

Yes, i have heard this...it actually happened to the bands singer i run a site for now.
I also had the same surgery but i infact had splints put in each nostril snd trust me, it sucks when they yank those out as well. lol.gif
