I think he's been him alone for a long time now...in his head everyone else is invisible.

I thought I saw Bill Hynes there. but I could be wrong.

Bill was not in attendance that night, he was driving back to York and could not make the show, though I'm sure he probably would have loved to have attended.

Some of you just have your hearts hellbent on bashing the shit out of the man that you fail to see the good in him. Because he does have "GOOD" in him no matter what some may think.

There are very GOOD reasons Diane why people as you say "bash the shit out of the man". True, he has good in him but also there is a lot of BAD and that is no lie! With respect to your comment about him having some good in him no matter what some think, I would equally say that there is a lot of BAD in him as well no matter what some may think.

I'm pretty sure I left the show after the song "I'm the Proof".

Interesting to note that Ed chooses to do 11 Live songs out of total 17 song setlist. IMHO that's not "moving on to another chapter" in his career. Strangely I looked at another set list and it was more in the 60/40 split between Live/Solo career. Guess it changes but looks still predominantly Live oriented setlist which of course does not surprise me.

I was just about to post the same exact comment. Apparently he realizes he has to keep playing those songs...

Actually, most times on this tour he IS alone...He was when i saw him and many others as well on the tour.
York was special and he has lots of friends there so if some of you actually read the reviews
you might see that a lot of friends were there and he asked kings foil to join him along with jen.
I think it' s great that he gives them a chance to show their talents. Kudos to him.

You'd think he would give Adam a "chance" since he was home.

Ok, youtube hates me apparently and I'm for whatever reason unable to upload these videos. I have every song. I only manage to talk at the beginning of one (only briefly at the beginning). the videos are hard to watch because I was not stable, but the audio is decent for a phone halfway back in the room. there's very little crowd noise. I was in a quiet bunch... the girl next to me giggled at everything Ed said, and then even more at everything her husband said, but you can't hear her.

anyway, regarding the show. Like I said, I thought I saw Bill Hynes, wasn't sure, only mentioned it because OTD said something about someone being there Ed wouldn't be thrilled to see (pun intended), but that must've been Jimmy. Jimmy, I'm sorry I didn't see you, I surely would've said hello smile.gif

I just listened to most of the videos. I enjoyed every song as performed except PLOTR. I didn't like really anything about the way it was played except that I still like Ed's voice. But it was just all wrong.

Anyway, I have to fight with youtube more. Sorry to be so slow. Most of you don't care, I know. But for anyone who still likes Ed's voice, it was a worthwhile show. Like I said, I could've done without Chris Herlein (I don't know if he's good or bad, I just didn't need him there), but I enjoyed Jen Lowe.

That's Selling The Drama. The other videos are uploading (fingers crossed). They are all the same in the same channel. I'd wait an hour or two from when I post for them all to be visible in you're interested. It's my phone (droid incredible 2) from row Q (halfway to the back in the venue) so the video is not worth watching... every time I twitch it looks like there was an earth quake wink.gif but I think the audio is pretty clear for everything. There was very little crowd chatter, which was nice. The videos do make his voice sound a little more tinny (and nasal) than it actually was, but again... this was my phone...

Sorry it took me so long. Enjoy. smile.gif

His voice sounds ok but not a fan of most of those drawn out lines.

I didn't know you were going, last I read you were still debating on whether or not you wanted to attend, but then struggled with the thought of spending any money on Ed (which I don't blame you.). Maybe next time smile.gif I was only there for half the show, it wasn't my intention to stay the whole time, just enough to say hi to Ed, give him a present, and then leave.

I noticed from your YouTube clips they are from start of song to end of song, did you record the moments in between songs? Did you record anything between the end of I'm the Proof and the next song?

-Jimmy
