I see he's still selling stuff with my image on it.

Jimmy,

Could you post what you are talking about? I'm curious and I have no idea what image you are referring to.

EddieK cross-T on his store. I also saw it sold at a show I was at a while back in Los Angeles.

Image was shot at a show in Toronto. No permission asked, no quick email "hey we're gonna use this are you cool?", no thank you, no nothing. As I said in an earlier post, the difference between that and how the guys CCCP treat photographers and images is different. When they wanted to use a really cool shot of CT for possible poster/shirt/merch, they immediately contacted said photographer and asked for permission and open up discussion on how much to pay for use of said image. I mean I'm not surprised.. we're talking about class guys here who understand copyrights and trademarks. Unlike others who would use the Live name in current promotions and misleading/deceptive marketing..

Not even a courtesy notice... "Jimmy, hey we plan on using this image for an EddieKLive shirt. Hope you are okay with that, can we do that?" or how about "Thank you, the shirt is a great success - here is a blank check for you to buy a new gear" LOL... one can dream nikon.com! This is all around the time that I pieced together their sneaky way of using me to get access to friendsoflive.com domain. Another story for another time.

That's the thing, people like Nick/Diane think they understand the unravelling of the end, but they don't.

Jimmy, why don't you do something about this? It's not on. If someone like him is doing it, what kind of precedent does that set?

I love how that is your first response... To try and put blame on Jimmy for not confronting Ed; not blame on Ed for doing it in the first place.

Maybe someone should shoot Ed a message about "I just bought the shirt Ed, it's so cool! Where did you come up with the image? Did you design it yourself??" And see if he lies through his teeth about it.

Well seeing as how my last response got conveniently deleted I'll answer again and keep it brief:

No Nick, why don't you?

The facts are simple:
1. I photographed that image
2. I own the copyright to it
3. It was used without my consent
4. Ed is a thief (see also impending litigation on copyrights and trademarks on using the Live name in deceptive marketing)

Poor old Ed, why can't he just be left to steal things in peace without having pricks trying to expose his underhanded deeds? These people should be ashamed of themselves, exposing a guilty man like that!
