Ed has just updated his webpage. He removed the splash page, and now has all news and tour dates on the front page on the site(along with a FB/twitter feed). He also has a promo for his upcoming EP November 19th along with Rise and The Garden streaming up top. All in all, very nice!

Got to give him credit there, he's at least updated his site which I think is important.

The only thing I don't understand is the promo picture for the garden. It's Ed's face transitioning into what on the right side, a full moon or something? Picture is just horrible, looks like something a grandmother would photoshop. All is missing is a silhouette of a howling wolf.

I see my thread about the others site is gone but oh well. Wasn't hating on them i just think it's really unprofessional to have that site not even ready and so full of spam like that.

This is awesome....he is on the ball and loves to stay in touch with all his online fans. I love it. Kudos to him. guitar.gif

I wish he'd get a better website. It looks too cheap and half-assed. The menu is awful, too. Props for making his networks nice and visible, but that's a bit of a given these days to be honest. MissingInk are behind it, it seems. Poor effort.

I'm not getting at him for this. I doubt it's his job to do his own site (save for contributing via blogs/twitter/fb). If he's got MissingInk to do it for him, then they've done a poor effort. Colours are fine, but it's just really cheap looking overall. From a purely web development sense, it's crap.

If we are critiquing his website - it looks cheap, the font is newbish and he probably got it for free thru missingink - and it looks like it.

I hate that picture as well. I think I already said somewhere that he should sack his graphic designer.

It isn't anything it shouldn't be. Artists with way less exposure and experience have websites a billion times better. It has no originality to it whatsoever - run of the mill, stock standard, fill in the blanks.

I just looked at the site. He added the fact that he is ready to sell his EP. He didn't update the site, it's the same thing with an advertisement. The change is figuratively just a small ad to sell stuff.

Ed's site was a bunch of promises that were never fulfilled. Cool clips, unreleased songs, a weekly blog, tons of exclusive stuff.

All the clips and unreleased stuff got pulled and the weekly blog fell to the wayside. No exclusive stuff to be found anywhere.

The site lasted about 6 weeks and then he left it for dead. As far as I can tell it has a new self promotion with the idea of trying to bring in $$$.

It still is dead. Ed should kill the site and just make it a store.

I think for all bands social media like facebook and twitter are a better way to reach fans anyway.
