As for the EP, I'll definitely check it out when it drops. If it's all at the level of 'Rise', then if it happens to come on via shuffle I won't rush to turn it off. But I probably will cry a little at how shallow his work is these days. Still, Rise is a slight improvement on SFBM / most of Alive. But only because it's got the American Idol rock element to it.

In regards to the song: same old story, but a different day. The song has pretty much no potential. It's boring, it's cheesy, basically it is a bad pop song. We should all agree that Ed nowdays is doing pop music, the problem is that the guy has no idea how to make a good pop tune. Oh well, OK.

What else is there to say? Clearly he's talking about the recent troubles with his lifelong friends, but he tells us he did no wrong, that they are out for revenge (for what though?) and that you can see it in their wicked beady little eyes.

What i don't get is how will he explain those lyrics when (if) it comes out from the court proceedings that he infact did do wrong legally...?? It's like he knows he's gonna win or he's just so completely insane.

This works both ways. Don't worry, when Live's album drops we'll get to hear all about how Nick doesn't like it and the sort of characters they are. Not that we don't know he doesn't like it already, but he'll still let us know. It's all just one big shitfest now from all sides.
