Just saw on the Sound Stage Direct site that this item is discontinued.

Are you talking about the gold version? The black version is still available for pre-order.

right, I assume the copper colored version is sold out (only 1,000 distributed worldwide). The black copy should be available for a while.

Okay, I misread that then. I thought I was on the Black vinyl page. I've already purchased a copper vinyl.

Sorry for the false alarm.

ye that's correct - latest update from my distributor suggests that the copper vinyl copy is now sold out. The black vinyl is available on pre-order and as ThrowgnCpr mentioned, it will be for a while yet.

Next up is a TDTH and is possibly a coke bottle clear vinyl but this is unconfirmed. MOV rocks!

Nice!

Thanks again!

Have you given it a listen at all? If so, what do you make of it compared to the CD?

Also, maybe someone can pitch in and tell us if "Horse" has ever officially (or unofficially) shown up on the printed tracklist/album art before?

Interesting.

No, Haven't listened to it.
Problem is that I first have to "build up" my complete stereo-installation (starting with looking where all the components are (somewhere on the attick)).
So it will take a while, but I plan to do so.

It's just a port of the Cd... that's disappointing. I was hoping it would have something... anything different. sad.gif

It's not a port of the CD. MOV does not do this. They only do official re-issues.

They also did Ed Kowalcyk's Alive album on vinyl (3 LP version). I don't know why anybody would be questioning the authenticity of the Throwing Copper re-release.

nice photos, as an ex-record industry person, that hub / label on the vinyl should have not been sold that way. It's a reject. I am thinking the pressing facility has old machines and the label application device is bad.

Anyone else get theirs appearing like that.....if it plays, then it's ok, (its simply cosmetic).

Because Pat told me they didn't authorize it. If Universal approved it, they did what they always do....fuck over the band.

Youre sounding a bit down in the mouth Dan......any reason why?

You know what, perhaps. But I tend to think it's Universal if thats the case based on some earlier posts here.
