Sweet! What equipment did you use to record the show?

Canon SD1000 I've had it for a few years, only does 480p video, but it records sound well. Works pretty good for recording concerts. Would be nice to upgrade soon to something that can do HD, any recommendations?

Ah, I assumed you were talking about audio recording. I shoot video using a full sized video camera, but digicams have come a long way in the last few years. Many shoot 1080p and have acceptable audio but they often come with a recording limit (ie. 30 minutes at a time)

The Sony HX20V is a small digicam with a 20X zoom. It's a new release camera.

A lot of digicams / DSLRs have pretty poor audio. Especially compared to special audio recorders you can buy separately. For example, I recently purchased a Canon 550d. To improve the sound quality I can record, I bought a Zoom H1 as well. Didn't break the bank, and does the job nicely.

The 30 minute limit is usually set so that the digital still camera isn't taxed as a video camera. Sometimes there are firmware hacks that can installed lifting this software limitation.
