You would have to ask Ed and his management that.

Why does he have to ask Ed's management? Why can't he just make up an assumed answer and pass it off as fact like you do? Surely you don't go asking CCCP and KM about all the things you like to pass off as fact before you say things.

Because even Nick can't make excuses for what Ed is doing anymore.

I like how Nick is now saying it doesn't matter how Ed is billed, it is all the same. Then he thumbs out tweets asking venues to change the billing to "of Live" so people will "know who Ed is".

Clown shoes.

Ed's Mgt is just as fault for doing this.

I know, but that wasn't really my point ... the fact is that SJN wants people to refer to official sources to get information, whereas he would never dream of doing such a thing, he'd rather just spit chips about his opinions as facts, and even when he does get information from official sources (ie, KM telling him something directly) he still refuses to accept reality.

Holy shit, I hate to see what kind of a mess this guy is gonna be in one day when Ed or Hogan die, is he going to insist that they're still alive since living in an alternate universe seems to be his thing.

Featuring all the hits... but they are all Live songs?? I thought this was his solo career?

So when LIVE tours, they'll be singing all the hits that they didn't even write.

So, are you saying that CCP had no hand in writing any music for Live ever? Interesting alternate reality you live in there...

Also noted your use of the word "singing" rather than playing, shows how you basically can only appreciate a singer and can't see past that to see what worth the rest of a band can bring.

Chad Taylor said himself that while he contributed to writing music for LIVE, Pat rarely did and Gracey practically never did.

Chad Taylor said he didn't really contribute to the lyrics (which is only what you can equate to song writing since you're incapable of appreciating anything else). CT said he wrote a lot with Ed over the first 4 albums and Pat had a great hand in it two early on. You're just following Ed's line of "I wrote everything", which is just bullshit, and you know it. Basically you have no idea who wrote what, did Ed write Pat's bass line in Heropsychodreamer? Tell me the answer to that. Did Ed write CG's drum parts to Iris? You know this for a fact? Early on they wrote as a jamming unit. Ah wait, those songs don't matter do they because they weren't singles. Do you even know these songs?

The point is, both sides have the right to perform the music that they all wrote together (exception being when Ed truly did take over all the song writing and turned the music into shit, CCP won't touch that), but one of those groups IS Live, the other is a solo performer who decided he wanted to move on and forge his own identity .... by playing a majority of the SAME Live songs over and over. Of course he CAN do that, but it does absolutely zero for his artistic and creative credibility.

The other group haven't performed those songs in a long time. Believe me, if Live tours a second time after the promotion of their album and the setlist barely changes beyond swapping this albums songs for the next new one and all the "hits" remain the same, I'll call them on it just like I am with Ed. As it stands now, this dude hasn't got a creative bone left in his body and is relying on this same handful of songs to get people in the door. Yeah he can do it, but it's just kind of sad.

It is, isn't it? It's just a complete, flat out lie. There is no way around it, this is just a guy trying to rewrite history to make Ed look more important than he was to how Live came to be. If Live existed only between the years 2001 - 2009, then yes, Nick's statement would be correct. But unfortunately for Nick, Live existed between 1991 - 1999 as well, when they wrote together, in one form or another, but they wrote together, this was Live's most successful era, as measurable by any means as opposed to the era where Ed wrote alone, which was the least successful era as measurable by any means.
This is purely the pushing of a lie to rewrite history and make Ed look good, unfortunately Ed hasn't looked good for 13 years when he was writing WITH a bunch of talented musicians.

Nick no matter how he passes off that he was a Live fan (which is untrue anyway) back in the 90's is a bunch of shit too. He cared about Live when Ed took over. Plain and simple. He doesn't discuss Live from 1991-2000 at all because he has no idea what went on. Liar Liar pants on fire.......apple, tree......dishonest, cheat, liar lol.gif

-Certain members contributed to the music on some of the songs music wise, but Ed wrote all of the lyrics and a lot of the music for the band.

-The fact that they each received 25 percent writing credit on every song is a total crime(even the songs that CCP want nothing to do with, they get writing credit).

-They performed The Dolphin's Cry in March, and that song was 100 percent Ed.

He wrote some (music), not all, not the majority. Lyrics, yes all Ed. and it was great stuff until 2000.

The music includes the entire combination. Ed was 1/4th. Dissertation to follow.
