This is what I have a problem with, I do respect AK, but I just don't think he's that good. I think from my interactions with him that he's a great guy, really humble, and he is a capable musician. But I just don't think he's anything that special. I don't see how just not being a fan of someone's music but liking them as a person is not showing them respect. I'd be showing less respect if I lied and said I thought he was utterly fantastic and a first rate world class musician. I don't think anyone said he was terrible or sucked, he doesn't. I'd rather see an AK solo show than an EK one at this point.

And so I find his interviews and magazine/newspaper articles where he discusses wanting to get the band back together a bit strange coming from a guy who talks about moving on, delivers ultimatums to his former band member and friends, then walks out on them, uses their namesake to further promote himself, and now wants back in?

Moving forward is exactly what they are doing and it will be CCCP, so articles like this almost reminds me of the way Nick operates on here. Plant the demon seed into the Live fanbase, let them all think about a reunion, say things like "fans are obviously interested", fans "deserve some sort of reunion with the four original members" and "I'm still working for that", it's all part of the big scheme of the propaganda machine, attempts to influence the masses. Well it won't work. The band has moved on. The sooner fans realize this the better! Ed has left. There is a new singer. There is a new lineup. CCCP is here. Embrace it or be gone and listen to the old CD's. But like the band, we too should move forward with this REALITY!

You know as well as I do that those rumors will persist until the boys whip out a new album and hit the road on a tour. I'm glad they aren't rushing the album, but a show here or there would help it all feel real.
