If you don't think Live can go on without Ed, then Live ended in 2009 for you and you should move on and enjoy Ed, your old Live albums or whatever makes you happy, but stop hanging on and complaining about what Live is doing now because it is none of your business.

I don't think that I could have been more fair and objective.

Things won't be the same without Ed.
Ed did great work with Live.
Ed took over control and stifled CCP's creativity.
Live went down hill under Ed's control.
CCP have made and can continue to make great music.
I discussed an example that demonstrates that they can actually make a better song without Ed than with him.
Live can go on without Ed and make good music.
These are facts.

In read Fish's post and I think he understands what an obsessive even rabid Fan of +Live+ I am.

After reading the lyrics to believe and honest man, when Honest man came out, I was at a bad point in my life, unemployed despairing, raging and Honest Man spoke to me, deeply. I listened to that song on repeat for hours.

Live concerts have always been church, the place I go to worship at the altar of rock, I've said this before, and now well Live just has new preacher in my mind. I will one day see Chris Shinn in his puplit and I will rejoice.

This whole thing has been very very conflicting as Live has been a huge part of my life and Ed was a large part of that especially when I was a teenager, yeah did I think some of the stuff Chad T said was douchey yep and I stated that and I spoke before thinking, before rembering that this man birthday is the day after mine, who has given me awesome hugs on my b-day and danced me with me in bars a trump marina..sags are hot tempered we speak before we think, we feel and speak our minds before we should..it's part of being us.

I'm done being rambling for now, no mater how live evolves, I will always be a fan.

I would like to request some feedback on www.LiveFanJournal.com

I can set the main page on the website to be the blog - in other words, I can get rid of the splash page with the photo slideshow and just have the primary domain name open up as the blog page. My sense is that the blog and then maybe the galleries, is all anybody cares about anyway and the main page is just a nuisance or a step people have to go through to get to the blog when they find the site. What do people think?

Should I get rid of the current Home page and just make the blog the main home page?
