It really doesn't matter how many this venue can handle. We see the kind of places Ed is playing at and all of us wouldn't be caught dead at them. He's become a sad lounge singer and will no doubt ride off into the sunset when the truth comes out about him and call it quits. It'll be a day worth popping champagne and sharing with all of you at FOL sans Nick.

This venue is awsome. Nice and intimate. Best ones to go to. I hate the bigger venues. I'm going Can't wait. Told ya i'd get a ticket nick! whoot.

Oh and just for the record...they did sell almost 300 tickets. ....i just got off the phone with the manager. As for the "we wouldn't be caught dead in them" comment. Chances are these will be the same kind of venues chad and the guys will be doing when they go out so yeah....you'll be there.

I should clarify. I wouldn't be caught dead at a venue like this watching Ed.

I can't criticize the venue or the crowd size. I saw Ed play an acoustic show in a little upstairs lounge above a restaurant in Philadelphia in 2009 when he was still the lead singer of Live and had the full promotion of FOL behind it. No shame there. I also saw The Gracious Few perform in front of about 150 people as the opening act for a band I have never even heard of in Townsend MD. No shame there either as far as I am concerned.

I just don't like the direction that Ed has taken with his music and I do like TGF and the signs of things to come from Live very much. So I am not following Ed's career anymore. You won't see me posting in the Ed forums harping on what a bad guy Ed is and antagonizing Ed fans and criticizing everything Ed does. I think that until Dan deletes the Ed forum, which will never happen because Dan is obviously an Ed fan (just look at how Dan promotes everything Ed is doing on his Twitter feed), both sides should keep their snarky, slanted comments to themselves, and expecially keep their flame throwing out of it.

I'd love to know how 300 people could fit in there. The number isn't the point anyway - it's the atmosphere. Like stated elsewhere, it looks like a venue at the local country school. Or a community hall in some shit towne that you pay 50 bucks to hire for the night. Do you have the Country Women's Association in the US? If so, hell, they may even come in early in the morning and clean up after his gig, thrown in with the price.

Seems a long way down from what Nick spouts off about and where Ed is supposedly at.

Personally I prefer small gigs - but this brings back too many memories of school assembly.

Oh believe me, i see a lot of the things nick writes but i can't call him a liar because i don't know if he is lying. Unless some of the things he has been called a liar about can be proven then i would rethink but i really don't care anyway because as i said, Fans shouldn't even be talking about the whole lawsuit / band stuff anyway. It's not our business to do so. All i care about is the music...not all the personal behind the scenes stuff. Plenty of you most likely make shit up about Ed as well but it really doesn't matter. It has gone both ways for a very long time and everyone knows it. You guys trash Ed just as much as nick trashes the others...if not more. sorry but that is just what i get when i come here. I stayed away for a long long time because i was sick of coming here and all i would ever see is all the nick bullying. Say what you will but sometimes you all go way overboard.
