So lets see. MJ came out in 1991 (by one day). Its 2012. We have been waiting for a real Live album for 13 years.

So Chad is saying that for 13 out of the 20 years of Live, Live has been crap. 65 percent of his career has been dedicated to writing (when allowed to), promoting, selling and performing crap.

I have to say, I am a fan of Chad, I like his work with Live, I like TGF, but man he talks out of his ass a lot!

Why? I think a lot of bands put out more bad music than they do good music. Also, your numbers aren't accounting for pre-MJ and the hiatus. Only 47 percent has been crap. smile.gif

And, in my opinion, CT has been up front about what went wrong, and once that "factor" was removed he brought us TGF.

That "factor" has continued to be awful even after it was removed from Live.

Was he a part of bad music? Sure. Has he given us a possible reason as to why the music was bad? Yes. Once that issue was resolved did he return with good music? Yes.

That's how I view it anyway.

Why are people so afraid to admit that some people make mistakes and own up to them and others don't? Some stay silent to hide behind their bad behavior and continue to make a situation worse?

I think that if you can't hear the difference between the first 3 or 4 albums and the last 3 albums, you have something wrong with you.

That reminds me of the first time I listened to V, and I was afraid Live had "jumped the shark". I couldn't put my finger on it, but after one listen, I knew something was different.

i guess they're feeling they're owed something, like they ignore bad shit went down and don't want to take a side based on information. As I have been saying, and now others, things will come out to make you feel sickened. Sisters of Mercy painting comes in full force!!!

Off-topic, but what does the Sisters of Mercy painting mean? That the guy is blindly looking up at something, ignoring the cliff he's about to walk off of? What do the women around him signify if that's the case?

a lot of people are interested in the music and dont give a shit about any of this including whatever the bus driver of live has to say. some musicians are assholes. its the music that most fans care about. because you hang with the band makes you different and i get that. others dont care. axl rose can show up 3 hrs late constantly and i will go see gnr every time they are in the tri state area. short of ed being a pedophile i dont think i will be sickened. all 80's bands not popular anymore are fighting or fought about who is using the band name, money, whatever. i find it interesting to a point but wont determine what faction i go with.

Weird that some old school fan like SFBM. For me the worst songs on it resumes everything post-TDTH...listen to All I need or a couple of others. Soulless to say the least. I enjoy most of V but agai,n the worst songs, OK? and Call me a fool are just painful to hear. These extremes are hard to understand. BOP had its moments when there was collaboration. Don't hate heaven but from there it became so predictable.

Of course if we count TGF it doesn't make 13 years of bad music.

I'll accept your math. Even still, he should still take responsibility for the 12 years worth of turd-Live he helped create and sell.

Instead he blames Ed and his lyrics. Maybe I can buy that for the first turn, or the second, but after that, they had no fans left, no radio airplay, no huge headlining tours. Why allow Ed to keep making your music crap just to keep him around for that?

And let me add, I'm not saying it was 12 years of turd-Live, he said it. I am in a vast minority that feels that although the last 4 albums or whatever weren't as good as the first three, I still enjoy them for what they are. I've said it before, I would rather listen to the worst Live album then the best Ke$ha album.

promoters wanted them to tour. they did and look how miserable they got. As funky stated, they still were musicians. THey should have made a hard choice earlier, but they didnt, this is the only thing we as fans can say they are at fault for, as C&C&P have admitted.
