Maybe he means something more toward some sort of settlement ??? Who knows ? A judge is the only person who can grant or deny a motion to dismiss if, in fact, that is what he means. It would definitely be interesting to know what has happened that spurred all this venting.

some of us know, it will have to wait for the public record but some inklings were revealed today. Yeah they tried to find a way forward with the lawsuit (1st one). "Some men you just can't reach"!!!

Dude... read your own post. Come on Pokey I expect better. sad.gif

This time I wasn't trying to convince him one side is right and another was wrong, I was trying to appeal to him to experience basic human emotions. I haven't had long winded arguments with him for weeks now, I just can't believe he can't understand how emotions work, putting aside details of who said what and when and did what and how. There was a difference this time dude.

Damn typos on this POS phone, so chucking iPhone this time! tongue.gif

Well anyways yeah it probably won't work, I guess when Nick pointed out that CT seemed "all over the place" that whether you agree with him or not, it's understandable why he has changes of heart, is conflicted and can be confused, it's just a fucked up time for him even with all the massive positivity about the album, probably makes it more confusing and conflicting. If Nick can't at least understand on a basic human level why a human being is like that, then fuck. We're through the looking glass then folks.

Anyways, that aside, personally, I these updates from CT smile.gif

Nick is just grandstanding political style. Everyone in the Live camp despises what he represents and who he is. He's just sour because he assumed he was the torch bearer and he's turned into pariah. He's just a hack with no real backbone. He's just doing Ed's business, his wishes, El Protector; And, while I root for the real foundation, I am also vested in seeing their music go back to how it used to be. When it was just music and no outside preceived drama.

Some of the clips sound real promising, can't wait to hear the finished product, they will take their time perfecting it, as all of the older Live records used to be. No outside influences, just a collaborative team and the production crews.

I honestly do understand your point somewhat. It is your opinion and you are entitled to that.

The other side of the coin is that there has to be a lot of pent up emotion here. People like you need to understand that some feelings have been really fucking torched here.

I can tell you for FACT that Ed forced his will on everything since V pretty much. Glad C.T finally said something about it. When one of your lifelong friends tells you it's HIS WAY or the highway? Basically tells you he's taking over and either to like it or lump it? Then turns around and pulls the down low bullshit he did in regards to the music as far as rights go?

Put yourself in their shoes ok? Try doing that before passing such judgement. Think of it as being with the same guy since 15 years of age. 20 years later him telling you he's going to screw whoever he wants and you can either accept it or leave. Now, you may choose to leave, but do you not think for one second that this type of action would completely fucking devastate most people.

Then the guy turns around spitefully and says you should take him back? Even though he made it clear he didn't give a shit about you in the first place?? And that he's only doing it to spite you.

I'm on the fence about these reactions, but people can only take so fucking much. If some of you people only understood what Ed has done to these fucking guys. It's so fucking disgusting that there aren't really many words to describe it. Now for him to come out and say he's willing to come back?? When he knows damn well right he never would?? Simply implying to the public that they don't want him back and that they are the ones standing in the way of a reunion?

Seriously, anybody who still supports this man, after all that he has done is just as bad as he is. I'm glad that I've been blessed not to know any of you. People like that have absolutely no conscience and no respect for themselves or anyone else.

Not only did Ed force Live into making three albums of ED, he was ultimately the demise of the relevance of this band. Could CC&P have just left? Fuck yeah, they could have. But they chose not to for many reasons. They made an enormous mistake and they are entitled to that. They are human.

Although these outbursts may be immature on the surface, not any of you should be judging it before putting yourselves in their shoes. For I'm fucking certain that most ALL of you same motherfuckers would be reacting the same way or ten times worse if you were the one being burned.

Bad ass post, LiveRocks^

On the flipside, if they had left they'd have given up control of the Live brand and we wouldn't have coming what we have coming. They could could have gone on under a new name with someone else but why should they have had to give up what they bled, sweat, and labored to build up in the first place? Live belonged to each one of them equally as much as it ever belonged to Ed.

Thanks, even more for actually reading all that.

I think C.T would be the first to tell you that his outburst was not well thought out.

But tell me something, is there one person here who hasn't said something before thinking? Because you're a fucking liar if you say you haven't. I'm guilty of this all the time. Fuck, just a few days ago I told the director of my building that I do not respect management there because I find it morally corrupt to sacrifice one's integrity for money. And he shook his head and simply said "touche young man."

I often say things without thinking of thei consequence but that's just me. And you wanna know what? I'm fucking proud of it. Because although I may lack tact in many instances, I tell people what I think without pulling any punches. It gets me into trouble, but in my opinion, is better than a bold faced lie. Better than any future misunderstanding of where I stand.

Dude chose to stay in a band for reasons we know nothing about, with Ed forcing them to go along with no creative input. I'm pretty sure that he's both embarassed and maybe even ashamed of sacrificing his artistic integrity for whatever reason. I'm sure that he's feeling even MORE betrayed now with everything that's happened.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and I admire him for that. Although I cringe at what he says sometimes to the point of feeling embarassed for him. I understand somewhat how he must feel, being burned like this. It hurts deep down and nags at you. It's an ache that is so gutwrenching at times, it overrides logical thinking at times.

Sometimes when the hurt is so bad, the illogical takes over and our actions are left to pay the price. A lack of understanding and disbelief in what somebody is doing to you, is enough to drive some insane at times. Some people can blow it off, some people can't.

I think C.T needs a break from all of this bullshit. Just remove himself from it all, especially this social media crap. Spend some time with his family and getting some perspective on everything else life has to offer him through the people who love and understand him most. I get the feeling that this whole mess has caused him some damage deep down. Like anybody else in his situation, he needs to give himself the opportunity to heal.

I fret over simple messages I send people on Facebook. Or stuff I post on here. Or just about any conversation I have with anybody. But there comes a time when you've just gotta say "fuck it" and go with it. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

He definitely needs a vacation from all the bullshit. We all do, but none more than he and his mates.

Can hardly wait for the new album. yahoo.gif
