Depending on if I can get this 10-cent mic working or not, I might do a quick acapella version of something tonight. If I do send it in, the quality will be awful, but I can't help that.

It would help if you didn't try at all. We don't need falsetto version of a Live song that wasn't sung that way in the first place.

Don't worry Dan, I didn't pay any attention to him.

The trouble with waiting till the last minute to do a cover is deciding which song to do. If I do a soft one, you won't even be able to hear me. If I do a loud one, it'll sound muffled.

Do you have any sort of audio program, like Cool Edit Pro or Sound Forge? If it's too low, you can use that program to give your vocals some extra db love.

If you need any help, I own CEP and I'd be more than happy to fix your levels. smile.gif

I've got Audacity and it works pretty well.

I just have to record it just right, or not even Audacity can save it.

OK, I'm listening to a few of these right now.

Turn My Head as a jazz number works surprisingly well.
The acoustic I Alone is pretty good.
Simple Creed absolutely rocked nod.gif
That was an interesting version of Insomnia. (I like that song well, though I can't sing it with a straight face, if you know what I mean.)
