Good for drama? Yes. Bad for image? mmm maybe. Either way, it's only 'us' who really care (or care to remember).

Having given thought to it in a greater context after reading Fish's post on his website journal, I realized again that we're the only one's who give a shit about all this.

No one (generalizing - general audience who 'liked' LIVE and now like Kanye West or some shit) will remember Ed's voice. They'll remember the hits - the 'I Alone's and the 'Lightning Crashes' in LIVE's catalog - but they won't know or remember Ed's voice like we remember.

Everytime someone posted a video/mp3 here - we crit it - and we analyze every nuance of vocal or instrument and we 'know' our LIVE.

Anyway, i'm waffling - when the new music hits under the LIVE banner - those who remember LIVE for what it was and is will care. Doubt they'll give a shit at a CT Facebook hissy-fit.

Like we often say, the version they were playing pre-V was awesome. It gave high hopes. Keyboards ruined the rock anthem it could have become. Cool also that the writing of the song wasn't that serious...kind of a let go writing. ot bad sometimes.
