Nothing CT is saying on this topic is a low blow......the truth will render many Live fans speechless in the end.

I've personally tried to stay out of this because I don't know all of the details. This truth you mention, OTD... will it ever be divulged? I'm assuming that legal concerns will make it that the full side of each story will never see the light of day.

there are ways to show emotions without being childish.

I can't even imagine how hard this is for them all. to have someone you love and trust just turn out to be the opposite of what you thought he was. I'm sure CT just constantly shakes his head wondering how the hell it ended up this way. that's how it would be for me, anyway.

BTW, was this post deleted? his latest on FB now is "ok, point taken" or something like that.

and I think ed is mute because his lawyer told him to be. and he's scared out of his mind. just a guess.

You don't understand the situation, being a new fan. It's simply part of the healing process for Chad. Like I said, many will be floored. Yes, in hindsight, they should have gone about the ontrol issue a different way back in 2002. Their only fault was not stopping Ed's control sooner.

The "stupid" lyrics for the dolphins cry sure helped benefit the whole band and if Chad hated the lyrics for deep enough so much, why did he allow it so appear on V? Seems that CCP defenders on this board are scared to criticize

I always thought the lyrics to Rattlesnake were rather silly. Who would have imagined a song like that could appear on the same album as a masterpiece like Ghost?

CT has posted stuff on the internet in his tour diary over the years that could have gotten him in trouble with his family, the fans and even the law. He has written things that some might find embarrassing. I have talked to him backstage after shows and he wears his feelings on his sleeve. Lately, he has let his emotions get the better of him when it comes to Ed. Then he walks it back. That's who he is. He's an artist. He is a "rock star". In my book, the good definitely outweighs the bad and I am a fan of CT for being the musician, the human being, and yes even the "raw nerve" that he sometimes is. It is what it is, and I like it.

I'd rather get the honest and unpredictable CT that sometimes says too much than the scripted Ed that either dodges questions, gives generic answers, or flat out lies through his teeth.

Honesty is great. This is why when he says something is going to be good he delivers. He's not out to fool anyone.

Jesus Christ he's a grown man and can say whatever the hell he wants to say. This idea that he has to tow some line and act according to what we think is acceptable is bullshit. Personally I love when he posts this stuff, it shows he is a real, passionate, emotional yet flawed human being, he is organic, he is what music should be. You know all the reasons you love him so something like this doesn't make him a bad person. Whenever I see one of his outbursts I am reminded of WHY he is feeling this way and know that no matter how "bad" it is that he is saying this, what Ed did to cause him to feel that way must be 1000 times worse. This notion that Ed should be able to do whatever he wants and CT should take it on the chin in private is bullshit. CT can respond however he wants to, if you don't like it, it's your problem, not his. And honestly, he's telling the truth, since 2000 Ed's lyrics have been trash. He didn't knock everything Ed did, that would be crazy, he said some. I imagine writing now is just putting things into perspective.
So yeah, good on CT, no need for every update to look like a press release that has been looked over by a PR manager before its posted. Leave that to Ed which goes along with the sort of manufactured, boring, clinical, safe music he is making... Let CT's posting reflect the vibe of what music should be - passionate, unbound, emotional... It makes you feel something one way or another. That's the difference, Ed tells you how you should feel, CT throws it out there for you to make up your own mind. Clearly I've made up mine, he did nothing wrong.

If Chad never spilled the beans a lot if us would still be in the dark about the "hiatus". I'll take the good and the bad. If this is a outlet for CT to vent then by all means he has every right.

Chad wears his heart on his sleeve, for better or worse. I've found some of his posts quite profound, some like this to be quite juvenile. Would rather see him posting clips and comment on the new material. However frustrated he must be with things surely that's the better way to channel it.

What you get with Chad is what you get. Regardless of what it is, at the very least it's authentic. That's a planet's worth of difference from what you'll get from baldy.

You may not like the way Chad T. goes about things but the guy can say or do whatever he wants. He's not breaking any written laws. What he said is plain and simple truth. I couldn't agree anymore with what Chad said and I think most fans, especially the original ones like myself, jumped ship as soon as they heard the garbage Ed wrote on V and beyond. He's just pointing it out for Ed lovers to see!
