Anyway, I'm always a fan of Live. Ed is a dick, i understand. Chad don't need to post thing like that on Facebook. Some will be angry at him.

Nothing CT is saying on this topic is a low blow......the truth will render many Live fans speechless in the end. He's venting emotions built up for many many years. If you only knew the real Ed, I don't think many would ever go see his shows again. He's teetering on extinction with nothing to hang his hat on.

But that's my point exactly... I don't know the real Ed. I certainly have no respect for him. I know that I will probably never go see an Ed show again simply because it was bad and because what he stands for now musically doesn't speak to me at all.

CCP make good music. Overall they seem like nice guys. But I don't know the real CT either. I form my opinion of him through his Facebook posts, his blog entries and the music that he makes. This impression would be so much better without the internet bashing, because honestly that kind of immaturity while there is a lawsuit going on only makes me wonder what kind person he is too.

OR when it is possible (I understand you can't write everything during a lawsuit) he could make a comprehensive post giving us the true story of how everything happened.

But you can't just write everything you feel on Facebook... Well, he can. But when I don't know more about the story than I do (and the general public really doesn't know a lot at all), I will judge him based on his posts. And to me it looks immature (and actually a bit stupid) to publically mock Ed's lyrics. After all he played these songs as well.

Yanno, it's an old sentiment.

When you progress in life, you lose people along the way. The ones you were friends with, colleagues, even fans.

Everyone you "lose" bcause of similar situation, are not real. They are not real friends or relatives or fans.

It's like a rocket, being escalated into the stratosphere. The higher it goes, the parts that are not needed, fall off more often. and it makes it easier to reach the stars.

But you can't just write everything you feel on Facebook... Well, he can. But when I don't know more about the story than I do (and the general public really doesn't know a lot at all), I will judge him based on his posts. This is exactly why public figures hire PR firms to handle anything they put out in public, including facebook. I"m sure going forward he will be more measured and everyone will get the homogenized version of things that they can all digest.

I am sure Ed's been spoken to in his face, actually I know he has been!!! You can write everything you want on facebook, it's freedom of choice. He's not immature, it's a good natured ribbing intended to vent a little steam while they are doing new writing for Live. People just don't probe deep enough LOL Oh, I made a funny!!!

they didnt hire anyone to write lyrics, consultation on areas of the process. Chris is writing the lyrics. Youre in the wrong thread Brian.

Chad wears his heart on his sleeve, for better or worse. I've found some of his posts quite profound, some like this to be quite juvenile. Would rather see him posting clips and comment on the new material. However frustrated he must be with things surely that's the better way to channel it.
