With Jimmy's permission, I have posted these photos in a blog entry on my site with some brief comments.

Your blog update is what I should see when I go their official site. Brief update from the studio with pictures. Satisfy the masses in minutes...

I don't think he would "taken side", but afaik he has always been a big fan of the CCP boys and the earlier Live albums.

I remember a discussion (I think FB) where Jimmy joined and didn't have any nice words for Ed.

I want a webcam bounce.gif just like when they recorded TDTH, which I all missed because I got into Live just after they finished that record facepalm.gif

that's interesting. Though I like both albums (LOVE SS), I don't consider their sounds to be similar. Not just talking about content or style, but the actual recording/mix

WHen you listen to the early 1998 TDTH stuff you can definately hear a band that shift from a SS-sound to a TDTH-sound. Maybe we have to think about that phase in between when understanding Jimmy's/Gertjans words

Don't forget the TDTH songs which were in the can and not used on the record where their sound was more rocking that what we got.

Luckily TDTH ended up being an amazing album regardless.

Looks like Shinn is penning some new lyrics. Adding on some tunes maybe? Guess the guy in the floppy is the DJ money ( forgot his name and too lazy to look it up). Shinn posted a pic of a ho down at the Shinn manor. pat strumming the banjo with floppy on guitar. Oddly enough I would love to hear Pat on banjo...

Fuck it. Might as well record the new Gracious Few album while they have a studio and everyone is present.

Hopefully just moving some lyrics around, that is if they are actually finishing up this week.

As good as TDTH was, imagine just how much better it could have been if songs like Still Aroused, Don't Wait, Vine Street, and the extended guitars of Where Fishes Go had been included?!

Don't forget Change. Most underrated Live b-side, would love to get a good recording of it.
