I'd take any from their recent shows/tours as well.

nod.gif I would most definitely love to see a live DVD... just a good produced, solid show that represents how great they are, performing live.

As far as live-cd's goes... I think there's plenty of good bootlegs outthere, ready for downloading and to put on a cd if you'd like!

With the amount of material available for free on the internet these days, I no longer get excited about a band releasing a live album. I can have one any time I want. Most of us on this board probably have several.

Thats not to say that I wouldn't buy an officially released live Live album, because I certainly would. Much like I bought Awake; if it were a different band, I might have either skipped it or just downloaded the 2 new songs. But I am not itching for a live CD, because technically, I already have it times ten.

Well, an official dvd would mean it was professionally shot and recorded. And with dts or dd sound most probably. For that alone, it should be well worth it for me. thumbsup.gif

i agree, and the quality of some of the bootlegs is phenomenal these days. i would buy it also, simply because it is live, but professionally produced also means taking the recording into the studio and cleaning it up. So really, the high quality bootlegs would probably be closer to their true sound in concert.
