Fucking sucks that that they have to deal with this bullshit from people that cannot let go and harp on the same old shit. Don't like it leave - it's really that simple.

Best part is the fuel added to the flames...CT now has to back up everything he is saying with some great music. I have no doubt that they will deliver the goods!

they've been sitting nicely letting all that stuff come, as he said they wont delete it and allow their fans to take whatever opinion. Pales from the censorship on Ed's page. The Chris Shinn BD shatting was simply uncalled for.

Wow. I haven't posted in a loooooong ass time but I can't believe there are any old Live fans actually following Ed. I was as big an Ed fan as you can be. I ADORED the man. But you know what? He changed. His MUSIC changed. The raw passion and talent he once possessed is gone. Chad nailed it, Ed is an adult contemporary /christian "rock" star now. I am NOT a fan of that type of music. So why follow him? Because he is/was hot? Please.... His actions have made him completely unattractive to me now. no.gif

We're trying to keep it positive. When Live had the show in March, a certain someone, who even attacked Live on their page, came to disrupt the celebration. So some of us attempt to make it hard for him to be here anymore, but its a fact we'll have to deal with.

The truth is that some people are getting what they want (Live and Shinn) and others are not and will not (Ed and Live) but they just keep bitching and moaning and being hateful (Shinn B-Day posts).

The Ed fans are acting like a bunch of fucking babies. Go listen to your weak, safe, and generic music and leave us alone. Quit being bitter that your hero isn't in Live. YOUR HERO WALKED. WHY ARE YOU HATING WHAT HE WALKED AWAY FROM?!?

When it comes down to it, it seems like most Ed fans are just hung up on the name. To them, it is totally fine for CCP to continue in any form they want as long as it's not called Live. That's their problem though. If they can't distinguish that Live was more than the sum of its parts then I don't think that the music ever penetrated them the way it did others. If it did, I doubt they would be hung up on who is singing as long as the music resonates the way it did when they made music as a band. Since Ed has refused to make music with them that way for so long, I'm not really sure what the beef is with them continuing. It's merely a superficial hangup protecting their adulation of Ed. To accept Live without Ed is to accept that Ed is not Live. They can't handle that.
