Ed's in full circle the wagons mode. That anonymous YDR article is another perfect example. Seems that since the second lawsuit was filed, Ed's been in a more communicative mode and more propaganda!!

Our take: Live should come together
Updated: 08/02/2012 08:10:07 AM EDT

Members of the band Live performed their first show in about three years on March 12 at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. (Chris Dunn)
How sad it was to read recently that the members of the rock group Live are embroiled in litigation.

Action Front Unlimited, a corporation formed by the four original band members and which owns the band's trademarks, filed suit against former front man Ed Kowalczyk, claiming he is misleading fans by branding himself as "Ed Kowalczyk of Live."

Well, he is Ed Kowalczyk. He was in Live. He was the lead singer and a major songwriter for the group.

Whether promoting himself as such now violates the terms of contracts or business agreements among the members will have to be determined in court.

But what a shame it has come to that.

This is the second suit against Kowalczyk. A 2010 suit by the three other original band members - still unsettled - claims he owes them money from an advance and royalties.

It's just disheartening to see childhood friends who achieved the greatness of a classic album like "Throwing Copper" bickering and suing.

Original band members Chad Gracey, Patrick Dahlheimer and Chad Taylor, are doing good things in York with development projects - and still continuing Live with a new lead singer.

It would be so great to see them reunite with Mr. Kowalczyk who, let's be honest, was a huge part of the band's success.

They're much better together than apart and feuding.

Unfortunately the writer does not know the entire story, nor is the writer brave enough to put their name on the piece.

It's an editorial. It's the opinion of the York Daily Record.

Interesting this opinion shows up at the time Ed is trying to weasel his way back to Live.

If someone really cared about Live and had enough interest to write this you would think an opinion like this would have come out a long time ago.

There really needs to be new music soon. I'm a bit tired of this whole 'circus'.
