It's weird that both clips to me, even though they're both quite different, the closest song I can liken them to if I had to would be 'Don't Wait' and I got no problem with more Don't Wait style songs!

If I could compare the small snippet that CS posted to anything I'd have to say it reminded me of a cross between Meltdown and maybe Iris.

Yeah Meltdown is another one along the same lines, don't quite hear anything Iris-like but if people are hearing that and getting that sort of interpretation it's not a bad thing in any way shape or form! How god damn refreshing is it to get some teasers of LIVE and actually being able to compare them to their better body of work as opposed to "wow this just sounds like BOP#2" which was a general consensus a few years back!

Iris may have been a reach. I'm just thinking something with sustained guitars. Maybe a combination of Meltdown and Rattlesnack would be a better comparison?

This clip plus the other make me happy. If you pretend they are the same song (and I guess they could be) then things are heading in the right direction.

I've listened to it a handful of times now. I pull Meltdown, PoD, Unsheathed, and a little Rattlesnake from it. Sadly, I also thought of Forever May Not Be Long Enough.

But I agree that this clip could go in any direction.

A short clip like this, and an intro at that (I am guessing), of any band of any song has a good chance to sound generic.

However, this isn't I'm the Proof generic. Or SFBM generic. This at least sounds like TDTH generic.
